🦔 Can You Help Us Find Hetty's Babies? ❤️

This morning we rescued a poorly hedgehog near the children's park in Chippenham, towards Nelson's Garden. She's now safe at Hereford Hedgehog Hospital, but the team believe she may have recently had babies.

If you live in one of the properties backing onto Chippy, we'd be so grateful if you could check your garden and listen out for tiny hedgehog babies squeaking.

If you think you've found a nest or hear anything, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help reunite the babies with their mum.

Our Hair By Jones family is full of dog lovers, so we're hoping we can help one of Aimee's close friends find the perfect forever home for Molly ❤️

Molly is a loving, playful girl with so much personality. She'll thrive in an experienced home with no children or other dogs, where she can enjoy plenty of walks, training, and one-to-one attention.

A bit more about Molly below:

We took Molly in around 8 years ago when she was roughly 14 months old after moving into a new house with additional dogs who she didn’t settle with. We had her littermate so we took her in temporarily. They clicked, and she never left! She’s always been a bit spicy toward other dogs and strangers. With time and good training, it could be overcome, just took time and consistency. Molly was to the point of being walked by a dog walker alongside multiple other dogs at once, so great progress. Then she developed degenerative cruciate ligaments in her rear legs during Covid, got the ops done, rehabbed with hydrotherapy, and, with management, she eventually warmed to the team looking after her. Thereafter, she just got a little more spicy toward newbies and other animals after her op. Fast forward a few years of enjoying our dogs and keeping on top of training, and we had a baby! That’s proven a bit too much for us to manage- massive energy and reactive toward our other dog around her. Ideally, she needs a single-dog household with no kids, a daily walk in the woods, preferably, and some hands-on ownership. That’s what she thrives on, she is a very loving and tender companion, energetic, playful, responsive, and loves brain games and training. We have tried rehoming shelters, we are on waiting lists, but they’ve informed us not to wait as the list is long, sadly. So here we are, we’ll ensure her ongoing home is appropriate for her. It’s not first-come, first-served.
