🌞 PLEASE HELP US LOOK AFTER OUR SUNBEDS 🌞

We want everyone to get the best tan possible while helping us keep our sunbeds in great condition.

Some creams and oils can damage our acrylics, affect your tanning results and aren't the best choice for your skin while tanning.

🚫 Please DO NOT use:

❌ Baby Oil

- Can stain and damage the acrylic.
- Increases the risk of burning.
- Doesn't give your skin the hydration it needs while tanning.

❌ Coconut Oil

- Leaves a greasy layer on the bed that's difficult to remove.
- Can damage the acrylic over time.
- Isn't designed for indoor tanning.

❌ Olive Oil or Other Cooking Oils

- Not made for tanning.
- Leave oily residue on the beds.
- Can cause uneven tanning and skin irritation.

❌ Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly

- Can damage the acrylic.
- Sits on top of the skin instead of properly hydrating it.
- Can lead to a patchy tan.

❌ Thick Body Butters & Oily Moisturisers

- Can leave a greasy film on the acrylic.
- May stop you getting the best, most even tan.

❌ Outdoor Sun Cream (SPF)

- Blocks UV rays, so you'll tan much less.
- Some formulas can also leave residue on the beds.

💛 Why does it matter?

Indoor tanning lotions are specially designed to work with UV light. They help keep your skin hydrated during your session, helping you achieve a deeper, longer-lasting tan.

Using creams that aren't made for sunbeds often means your skin doesn't get the hydration it needs while tanning. This can leave your skin feeling drier, make your tan fade more quickly, and stop you getting the best results from your session.

⚠️ TikTok & Viral Tanning Products

We've seen lots of creams, oils and tanning products advertised on TikTok and TikTok Shop.

If you've bought a tanning product from TikTok or it's gone viral on social media, please show it to a member of staff before using it.

Some products aren't designed for indoor tanning and may damage our acrylics or simply aren't suitable for use on a sunbed.

We're always happy to check it for you first.
