Lymphatic Massage After Your Baby 🤍👩‍🍼

Let’s talk about lymphatic massage after having a baby — especially after C-sections.

I had a lovely client in yesterday for a full-body lymphatic treatment, including some very gentle abdominal work to help with bloating and support the tissues around her C-section scar to ease any pain and promote healing.

I honestly can’t recommend lymphatic manual drainage enough as part of your post-baby self-care. ✨

It can help support:
• Fluid retention and puffiness
• Digestion
• Hormonal balance and your body’s natural recovery process
• Comfort around the breasts, particularly if you’ve chosen not to breastfeed
• Relaxation and calming of the nervous system after labour
•Gentle healing and mobility of tissues that may have been affected or disrupted during surgery

So many mums put themselves last — “I’ll book next month,” then another month passes. Meanwhile, the stress, tension, sleepless nights and changes your body has gone through can build up and leave you feeling sore, tight and uncomfortable.

Your body has just done something incredible. It deserves some love and attention too.

Treatments are always adapted to your individual stage of recovery, and C-section/scar work is kept gentle and appropriately.

I also have a wee holiday booked next week, so I won’t be returning to work until Tuesday 14th July.

During the summer holidays, appointments will be more limited as I won’t be working my usual five days a week while the kids are off school so please book in advance.
