National Honey Day 2026

A nationwide celebration of the golden goodness of local British honey and the dedicated beekeepers who produce it.

This year's theme is simple and powerful: Buy Local Honey! There's nothing quite like a jar of honey from the bees in your area. Every one tastes of its own corner of the country and every purchase supports a local beekeeper.

We do have honey available on our website www.morecambebaybee.com

Back from a lovely relaxing holiday 😎 Now to jar some honey 🍯 This is wildflower honey and is back in stock on our website, we also still have some heather honey too 🐝

Sorry if we have been quiet on here we have had a fantastic week away in Portugal. Obviously we found some Portuguese bees and lots of lovely honey 😀 🐝 🐝

Looking forward to beeing part of this fantastic weekend again 😀 🐝

At this time of year we give our bee colonies a helping had to ensure they have enough stored to get through the winter! A 2to1 sugar syrup will help them fill their remaining frames. 15 hives means a lot of sugar !!!

Little visitor whilst checking some of our bees today. 🐝 🐝
