I do think the hair dryer part is possibly going a little bit too far but this picture does show how to care for your lashes. Remember, the better you look after them the longer they last. I have many customers who only come back every 3 weeks for their top up as they care for then so well.

The lashes I offer are designed to look fantastic for a long time, they blend well with your own lashes so the general rule is that if you look at them and notice they need doing again then there’s probably not many left and you’ve left it too long.

Regular appointments are a must to keep on top of them and maintain lash health.

Let’s talk aftercare!

One of the most frequent questions I get asked is

“How long do they last?”

My reply is always the same

“It depends on how you look after them”

It’s really important not to get them wet for the first 24 hours HOWEVER it’s even more important to get them wet and keep them clean after that.

Build up of natural oils, everyday pollution and make up will clog up your lashes and cause the glue to degrade, bacteria to form and reactions to occur. If you’re finding your lashes a bit itchy it’s probably because you’ve not kept them clean.

This will affect how they last as oil will break the glue bond causing the extension to fall off and/or itchiness will cause you to rub them which will pull out your own natural lash taking the extension with it.

I do sell aftercare/lash bath kits, they are £10 and last ages. They are defitworth the health of your lashes so do ask me about them at your next appointment. You wouldn’t never wash your hair or only ever splash it with water, why would you be any different with your lashes?

I found them! Not the very first set as those were done before phones had particularly decent cameras, I think I had a blackberry way back then.

Classic lashes done in my first full year of self employment. I think I was doing my hairdressing training at this time (yes I am a fully qualified hairdresser too!).

These were advertised at £32.50 and were done in Jan 2012 which is marginally tragic that despite the huge cost of living increases my lashes are currently only £5 more than these.
I used slightly straighter lashes then as that was the fashion but they don’t make them now.

I can’t believe I have kept such a simple business successful for almost 16 years and many of my original customers still come to me. I’ve met some fabulous people along the way, what will 2026 bring I wonder?

If you would like to take advantage of the January Classic Lash Offer at just £37.50 please get in touch via messenger 💕

I’m sat reflecting on my career in this industry, remembering the highs and the lows and wondering what 2026 will bring. These pictures are of one of the first set of volume lashes that I did. I was one of the first people in this area to offer lash extensions and here I am 15 years down the line wondering where my life will take me now. I can’t find any pictures of the first classics I did, I think it was before we had proper phones that took proper pictures 🙈.

Anyway these pictures are from 2016 and the person is still a regular client of mine so I must be doing something right.

Volume lashes are so much fuller now but the trend seems to be heading back to the more natural look of classic lashes.

Classics are on offer at £37.50 until the end of January, message me to book 💕

I felt a bit Pamela Anderson coming in to work today without my brows drawn on 🙈. All for a good cause though as I snuck in early to give myself a quick hybrid stain.

I like my brows to look painted on but without too deep a colour so I’ve used medium brown hybrid stain and given them a quick wax to sharpen the lines.

These will look good for a couple of weeks so will save me time in the mornings.

Hybrid brows are just £18 and require a patch test. Send me a message to book 💕

One of the things most often said by my clients is how “weightless” the lashes feel.

I have so many clients who have found me after trying different lashes and they all say how natural they feel, not heavy or tight.

I use a lightweight lash, designed to look dark but feel weightless.

I have many clients who have been with me for 15 years but after swapping my working hours round a little recently I have space to take on one or two more.

Get in touch for your new lightweight look.

If you want a seriously relaxing treatment, book in for reflexology. Enjoy a foot soak and massage where you can totally switch off for an hour for just £40. Worth every penny!

Anyone who has spoken to me recently would be able to tell from this picture which part of my ear feels tender. Have a look at the picture and a little feel of your ear and I bet you’ll find some tender spots.

I offer foot reflexology which is extremely relaxing and therapeutic- so much so that I go for it once a month too. It’s just £40 for an hours session, message me to get booked in and start your well-being journey today…
