I know some of you think it's too early, but Christmas Appointments are like gold dust nearer the time so it's best to be organised!!

Christmas week isn't quite available online yet, but as most of you know, I try my best to get all you regulars in beforehand so you can secure your appointment ahead of online release.
If you all want to check your diaries and let me know any appointments you want booking in advance.

It's the 1st of September 😲 already!!

We are starting a new month with a NEW member of the team, Elle.

Elle is going to be working part time -
Wednesday evening
Alternate Thurs / Friday school hours
Sundays

She is a fully qualified Level 2 + 3 beauty therapist and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

We are looking for models for Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th to go through procedures for the following treatments -

- Gel polish
- Builder Gel
- Bikini
- Underarm
- Lash tint & brow tint and tidy

Please message if you are free on either of these days and would be happy to model for any of these treatments

I feel like I need to address the 'Gel Polish Ban' headlines and the absolutely outrageous piece aired featuring 😡

Gel Polish is NOT banned, an ingredient TPO, that you would normally find in gel polish is what has been banned, an ingredient that you will also find used in dentistry, however not banned for dentistry!!

The study was done back in 2025 on male rats where they were fed copious amounts in which they found it had a slight effect on s***m after 10 days. With this information they decided to take precautionary measures to ban it being used in cosmetic products such as gel polish.
Brands & therapists have been aware of this for a while and brands have already been phasing this out ahead of the ban. Professional brands are now already TPO free!

Many salons, therapists and Brands will not necessarily have made an announcement on the date of the ban purely because they have already made the transition without any effect on your treatments!
Qualified Therapists will/ should always have your best interests at heart, we are here to provide you with the best possible services and advise to ensure you are comfortable and happy with the treatments received using professional products.

As a small salon owner of 5 years, I have worked incredibly hard and strive to offer only the best for my clients. Being in the industry for 24 years has taught me a lot about the importance of staying knowledgeable on what's going on in the industry and about my customers wants and needs and how to offer that safely without compromise.

Now according to small salons are not as reputable as large salons.
My experience and knowledge does not waiver nor change whether I'm running a large or small salon, by running a small salon I know every clients name that walks through that door, I know any struggles they maybe going through, any exciting times they have coming up, it's a far more personal experience allowing me to know exactly what their needs may be before even they know!
