Today, Aphrodite Beauty Room is 13 years old. 🥹
13 years of nails, brows, lashes, waxing, massages, pedicures, conversations, laughs, tears, life updates and probably far too much oversharing from both sides of the treatment bed. 😂
What started 13 years ago has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of — and so much of that is because of you.
Some of you have been with Aphrodite for years and years, some of you have joined more recently, but every single person who has walked through that door has been part of the story.
You’ve trusted me with your nails, your brows, your lashes, your feet… and often a lot more than that. 😂 It’s never just been about the treatment. It’s the conversations, the friendships, the familiar faces and the little bit of escapism that comes with sitting down for an hour or two.
To every client who has booked an appointment, recommended me, bought a voucher, shared my work or simply kept coming back — thank you for being part of the Aphrodite family. 🤍
13 years is a pretty big milestone, and I’m so excited to see what the next chapter brings.

Because tomorrow is officially 1st October and I think that means we’re allowed to go FULL autumn. 😂

There are A LOT of beauty therapists and nail techs out there… so why choose me? 👀
Because yes, I’ll give you great nails, brows, lashes, feet and all the other beauty bits…
But I also give you honest advice, a relaxed appointment, a good laugh and, apparently, an unofficial therapy session. 😂
I’ll tell you if I think something isn’t going to work. I’ll obsess over the tiny details. I’ll remember the story you told me three months ago. And I’ll probably know what’s happening in your life before I know what’s happening in mine. 🤣
Aphrodite has never just been about the treatment.
It’s about having somewhere you can switch off, feel comfortable, have a chat, have a laugh and leave feeling a little bit more like yourself.
13 years in, I still bloody love it. 🖤

Please don’t. 😂
When you pick or peel your gel polish off, you’re not just removing the product, you can take layers of your natural nail with it.
This can leave your nails:
✨ Thin
✨ Weak
✨ Flaky
✨ Sensitive
✨ More prone to breaking and splitting
And once that happens, your next set may not last as well because we’re working with a damaged nail underneath.
💅🏼 Gel should always be removed correctly
And please… don’t use your nails as tools to start the peeling process. Once you’ve lifted one corner, it’s VERY tempting to keep going! 😂
Your natural nails deserve better.
Book the removal. Don’t pick the product. Your future nails will thank you. 🖤
