For this Opus Couture editorial, the brief was soft, fresh and youthful. Skin was kept luminous and weightless, the eyes softly defined to enhance Abbies natural beauty and the lips finished in a modern soft pink to bring freshness and balance to the overall look.

The result is makeup that feels modern, ethereal and timeless, allowing every intricate detail of this beautiful Berta gown to be fully appreciated while still framing the face beautifully.

To me, luxury bridal makeup isn’t about doing less or doing more, it’s about creating a makeup look that works in harmony with your personal style and your gown.

Nicola and I travelled over to Arran for Heather’s beautiful wedding, and the weather had other plans when the ferries were cancelled on the morning of the wedding. But if our beautiful bride was worried, she certainly didn’t show it. 🤍

She stayed calm, trusted that everything would work itself out, and that’s exactly what happened. As she was leaving to make her way to her stunning beach ceremony, the clouds parted and the sun came out.

To all my future brides… you’ve spent months (and sometimes years!) planning every little detail. If something unexpected happens on the morning of your wedding, try not to let it steal your joy.
The little things you can’t control often become part of your story, and somehow, everything has a way of falling into place.

The most important thing isn’t perfect weather, it’s marrying the person you love, surrounded by the people who matter most.

10 years of beautiful makeup looks… but this one was extra special 🤍

When Karen asked me to be her bridal makeup artist it was the easiest yes.

For her wedding look we went for glowing skin, a classic red lip and soft shimmering eyes.

One new product I’m officially obsessed with is the Valentino Eye to Cheek in shade 04.
The perfect summer bridal blush that just melted into the skin and worked so beautifully alongside Karen’s red lip.
