After 3 years of struggling with skin allergies, my client came to me feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and unsure what products her skin could actually tolerate. Her skin was constantly inflamed, with the eye area being especially reactive and sensitive.

For the last 2 months, we’ve worked closely together to rebuild her skin barrier gently and safely 🤍 Using a tailored skincare routine, we slowly introduced just ONE product at a time every few weeks to make sure her skin stayed calm, balanced, and happy.

Alongside her homecare, we completed 5 sessions of RED & NIR LED light therapy to help calm inflammation and support healing ✨

Home after a trip to London marking ’s 10 year anniversary and the exciting new chapter ahead. I introduced AlumierMD to Glow Studio nearly 2 years ago and it’s been an incredible journey - The brand has genuinely transformed my clients’ lives and my own skin too. So getting to hear about what they have planned for the next chapter firsthand was so exciting. When I found out I was one of the select clinics being invited to exclusive AlumierMD event, I was over the moon and also a little nervy (okay a lot nervy - cue imposter syndrome!! ) but honestly I had nothing to be nervous about - It was such an inspiring day and being surrounded by so many lovely fellow Skin Clinic owners and the amazing Alumier team and getting to know so many faces I knew from instagram was definitely a highlight for me. Being in a room among people who all share your passion and excitement for the future of skin was so special ♥️

Something REALLY cool happened this week 🙋🏻‍♀️ Tie the knot 100th issue came out on Friday where Glow Studio featured in an editorial piece on Bridal Skin prep ✨✨

I was so excited to have my business advert in the last issue so when the lovely Emma asked if I would feature in an article she was writing for this issue I couldn’t quite believe it!!! I was more than happy to share some insight. 2026 really is that year.

Bridal skin prep is something I absolutely love helping my clients with, to be trusted with such an important and special time in so many people’s lives and help Brides feel their absolutely best in their own skin is something I’m so passionate about ♥️ thank you to my gorgeous glowing brides Hannah, Aimee and Robyn for letting Tie the Knot use their photos 🥰

I’m one the only person in Scotland who was given this award and one of 4 in the uk.

Best believe I bubbled my eyes out when the lovely Gemma came to tell me. Not even a year into being fully self employed and feeling so grateful and proud. Thank you to everyone that supports my business - you have no idea how much it means 💖

Christmas morning on our gorgeous balcony in Koh Tao Thailand Sam asked me to marry him and I said yes! We are beyond happy and spent all of our holiday celebrating in the sunshine ♥️

I have had an amazing break away, Thailand was incredible - I think that’s the first time I’ve actually properly switched off from work in 5 years and it was so needed. It definitely taught me just because I love my job doesn’t mean I owe it every free moment.

Thank you so much to everyone for being patient while I was away, I’m so looking forward to catching up with you all and hearing how your Christmas breaks were on my return to work tomorrow. I’ve got some admin time in the diary tomorrow afternoon so everyone waiting on a response will hear from me then.

I’m so excited for 2026 and have lots of plans for Glow Studio already - watch this space 🥰

I started my business in my mums spare bedroom and watching it grow to where it is today makes me so happy, a moment made even more special with the fact I’m featured alongside my talented bestie .bridal proud of us 🤍

When your client trusts the process and gets her confidence back ♥️

My gorgeous client came to me September last year having struggled with her skin for a really long time, feeling like she had tried everything and at a bit of a loss with what to do. She felt she always had to wear make up to cover her break outs and it really impacted her confidence.

We have been on such a journey with her skin, it got worse before it got better which is often the case with an acne journey and Holly continued to trust the process and trust me and look how far we have came 🥹

I prescribed a full AlumierMD routine where we started with the basics to calm inflammation and then introduced more actives as time went on, we had a look at what could be impacting her skin internally and how we could help it.

I started with some lymphatic flow and sculpt & Buccal massage facials to help slow the nervous system down, release stagnant lymph and reset the skin. We then proceeded with a course of AlumierMD peels & dermalux LED light which have been a game changer for Holly’s skin. I’d say it took us until about July this year for Holly to have full confidence in her skin again and get the break outs completely under control.
