Last Thursday I was invited to and attended the Stroud News & Journal community awards as I was a finalist for the category - diversity in the community.

After what has been an incredibly challenging past year for my small business, it really meant the world to me to be short listed and put forward as a nomination.

I want to say a massive thank you to all my clients, friends and family that have supported me over the past few years, you have all shown me so much love, compassion and kindness, if it wasn't for you wonderful bunch I honestly think I would have left the industry by now. So to everyone who has supported me - THANK YOU 🩷🌈

A nice before and after picture from earlier on this week.

My wonderful sibling in law Victoria, has their hair done a few times a year, and this time we decided to go for something a bit different.

Victoria normally has a full head bleach, and a blue vivid but this time we opted for something that would be easier to manage.

We decided to do a full head of chunky highlights and, some foilyage to blend their natural hair colour in with their blue, and to not leave as harsh a regrowth line as a full head colour.

We then mixed neon blue and midnight blue to create this deep dark blue, and we finished off with a wet cut and finish!

I really enjoyed creating a slightly different look from normal for victoria, and would love to do more work like this!

Happy belated new year from Issie does hair, I wanted to come on here and say hello and update all you lovely lot on a few changes that will be happening at Issie does hair.

Firstly I want to apologise to anyone who has contacted me recently to make an appointment (and for those who have thank you for your patience and understanding), I took some time out from hairdressing to focus on my own wellbeing, but I am pleased to announce that I am now back and taking bookings again.

I am now only offering mobile appointments for the foreseeable future. This will be covering the Stroud and nailsworth surrounding areas, and I will be updating my price and service menu to reflect these changes.
