✨🚦Little SW Works Update 🚦✨

The road works on Lochloy Road will now be starting on Monday 12th October.

🚨 OK… SCOTTISH WATER WORKS…IT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING! 🚨

After YEARS of “will it, won’t it happen?”… the Scottish Water works are finally going ahead!

We know there has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding the works, so Natalie has been in constant communication with Scottish Water to get as much information as possible and make sure we can keep all of our clients updated on how this will affect traffic, access and parking around Bella Salon.

There will also be a Drop-In Session at the Seaman’s Hall on Thursday 3rd Sept, 4–7pm, if you’d like to find out more about the works directly.

🚦 WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR BELLA SALON?

📅 5th October 26 – 2nd December 26
🚗 Lochloy Road works
Lochloy Road will be worked on for 2 months but will remain open. However, we expect this will have an impact on traffic throughout the town, so please allow an extra time when travelling to your appointment.

📅 3rd November 26 – End of May 27
🅿️ NO PARKING OUTSIDE THE SALON
Unfortunately, there will be no access to the parking spaces directly outside Bella Salon for the duration of the works.
We have asked Scottish Water about alternative parking for our clients, but unfortunately there wasn’t a suitable option available.

💭 And honestly… this has been a MASSIVE weight on our minds for the past 20 months.

For those of you who have been in and spoken to Natalie and the girls, you’ll know just how much uncertainty there has been around this.

The reality is, the works are completely out of our hands. We genuinely hope they won’t have a major impact on the day to day running of Bella Salon, but inevitably, having our parking taken away for 7-8 months and potential disruption around the town is going to put some pressure on all of our businesses.

❤️ But we’re here, we’re not going anywhere, and we’ll do everything we can to make this as easy as possible for our clients.

We’ll keep you updated with any new information as we receive it, and as always, we’re so grateful for your continued support and understanding.

Lochloy Road Nairn - Scottish Water The new chamber will include a powered screen, which will help prevent sewer related debris from entering the River Nairn.
