Hi Everyone, I’m Natalie, the owner of Ascension Massage Therapy. As a level 6 Advanced clinical and Sports massage therapist, I am specialist in the treatment of chronic pain and complex conditions.

While I successfully treat a variety of clients in my clinic, I have two main branches of specialism.

1. Supporting families with neurodivergent children, helping those parents who struggle with ongoing pain and feelings of overwhelm and depression.
2. TMJ/jaw pain, Headaches and Migraines.

How we work together:

6 treatment plan

First treatment:
30min assessment + 1hr hands on treatment

3-4 weekly sessions then start to spread appointments as pain decreases and function improves.

Once initial pain starts to improve, rehabilitation exercises provided (you have the option do them independently at home or to book extra sessions in clinic or online to help achieve your goals)

After 6 appointments – monthly to 6 weekly maintenance appointments advised, to keep you out of trouble and ahead of the game.

What is a JING Level 6 advanced clinical and Sports Massage Therapist:

1. Specialised in the treatment of chronic pain and complex conditions
2. We are trained to a degree level in massage and soft tissue therapy (the highest in the UK)
3. We apply our training using clinical reasoning – This means that everything we do has a clinically applicable reason. We don’t just rub the sore bit as hard or deep as we can to loosen up the muscle.
4. We use a whole person approach!!! What works for one person, might not be right for another.

Loved being in Brighton, but also being back in the office seeing clients.

Teaching one to one on the ACMT (Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy) course. This has been wild! A combination of the year long and 3 week intensive group. All I can say, is what a lucky world we have. With all these amazing therapists. JING Massage Institute gives so much, and produces experts in the industry. I feel so lucky to be part of passing this education forward.

There is something about being in Brighton that flicks a switch for me. Whether it's the sea and the atmosphere, the anticipation of walking into Jing Institute of Massage & Complementary Medicine (my second home), or the excitement of another challenge, maybe it's a combination of all three!
