Lip filler doesn’t stay exactly where it was originally placed forever. Over time, filler can migrate and change, and our understanding, products and techniques are constantly evolving too. ✨

So choosing to dissolve and start again isn’t about slating your previous practitioner or saying they did anything wrong.

It’s simply about creating a fresh canvas, reassessing the lips and using the techniques we have available now to build a shape that feels right for you today. 🤍

So many people in my comments and messages say they are not ready to sacrifice the 2 weeks of downtime after dissolving before refilling. But if you are truly unhappy with your lip shape and want to change your lips for the better, it can be the most worthwhile 2-week wait.

This journey was all about correcting migration, restoring shape, and creating soft, balanced, beautiful lips again. 👄

✨ 1st photo: Before — the lips had visible filler migration, an uneven shape and lacked clean definition, which made the overall result look unbalanced.

✨ 2nd photo: Fully dissolved — the previous filler was carefully dissolved, allowing the lips to return to a more natural state and creating a clean base to start again.

✨ 3rd photo: After 1st session — the first stage of rebuilding, where shape, structure and symmetry were restored while keeping the result soft and controlled.

✨ 4th photo: Fully healed after 1st session — once the swelling settled, the lips looked softer, more balanced and much more refined, with a healthier overall shape.

✨ 5th photo: After 2nd session — further refinement and strategic volume were added to enhance projection, definition and harmony between the top and bottom lip.

✨ 6th photo: Fully healed — the final healed result: beautifully balanced, defined and refreshed lips with improved symmetry and a much more flattering shape. 🤍
