I wanted to share something openly and honestly.

I was recently notified that I’d been selected for a “Best Massage Clinic” award. While that might sound flattering at first, after looking into it a bit more, I realised it’s come from a marketing company that essentially sells these awards as part of a promotional package.

Because of that, I’ve decided not to accept it.

For me, the value of my work comes from the trust my clients place in me, the results they feel, and the word-of-mouth recommendations that grow naturally over time. That means far more to me than any title that can be bought.

I’m always grateful for genuine recognition, but it has to align with my values and feel earned in a real way.

I also gently encourage people to be aware that not all awards or badges you see online are what they seem. It’s always worth taking a moment to look a little deeper and decide for yourself if they are truly meaningful.
