Russian Lips focuses on adding height and definition rather than just volume alone, with an emphasis on the Cupid’s Bow. Dermal filler is laid vertically to create structure and to achieve a flat side profile, along with using a mixture of fanning techniques to lift the lip.

For best results, I always recommend the russian technique to clients with virgin lips (no filler), or minimal filler which has previously been injected using the same technique.

Here we used dermal filler in the chin to correct chin dips/dimples and to add more projection to the chin itself to create a more v-line shape to the lower face. We also added a small amount of dermal filler into the lips to add a subtle lift to the cupid’s bow and overall shape of the lip!
