With spring in the air and sunnier weather making more of an appearance, it's time to become a teacher again and share some sun-related skin info ☀️

🧴 A "base tan" does not protect the skin from sunburn. All tanning is a result of the skin's response to DNA damage caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

🧴Between 80% and 90% of visible skin ageing is caused by sun exposure.

🧴UV radiation can pe*****te deep into the skin and affect DNA inside skin cells. Over time, this may lead to mutations in skin cells, accelerated ageing and increased risk of skin cancers.

🧴To best protect yourself, use broad-spectrum SPF 30 to 50 daily, maintain a professional skincare routine and consider self-tanning or bronzing skincare products for a healthier glow.
