Just a polite reminder, when cancelling appointments please give us plenty of notice, we do understand sometimes it's unavoidable but unfortunately last minute cancellations are very hard to fill, we have people waiting for appointments to become available but need plenty of notice , so please bare that in mind.
Clients that cancel last minute or don’t attend cause us to lose a lot of money, staff and bills still need to be paid , and there is nothing worse than knowing you have turned clients away that would of loved that missed appointment.

So today Beehive Unisex Hairsalon on Main Street Balderton will close its door for the last time !
I opened this salon 26 years ago in 1998, and Debbie Guthrie and Emma Stevenson joined me shortly after.
Anita Newport joined me in 2001 and went to work with Emma when I opened Beehive Newstyle on London Road in 2002.
We were joined by Lisa at London Road in 2011, I feel honoured and am so proud that I have long term staff that have stayed employed and put up with me for so long !! We are a good team and I have been lucky to have trained many apprentices that have gone on to have successful careers in hairdressing and had some lovely staff who have moved on but all played a part in making Beehive the successful business that it is.
Beehive Newstyle on London Road is looking forward to making more memories and welcoming Emma back to work with us under one roof once again. We are very grateful to our clients whose loyalty and custom is so very valued. Without you all we wouldn’t still be here, we appreciate every single one of you and thank you very much for your custom. We look forward to greeting you at London Rd salon. At least the parking isn’t as bad as Main Street !
So here is to a group of very talented hairdressers joining together under one roof and making more happy memories and a Happy Retirement to Anita who will also be making new memories by hanging up her scissors.

Firstly …We would like to inform all our clients that Anita who has been a valuable member of staff for over 20 years is retiring in 6 weeks time on the 2nd March 2024.
Emma who has worked for BEEHIVE MAIN STREET for over 25 years will be moving to BEEHIVE NEWSTYLE 108a London Road, Balderton, NG243AB Tel 01636611400 ( next door to Lidl )to join our friendly team who also have had a long career in hairdressing, and have a wealth of knowledge between them, Sue, Dee and Lisa.
Any appointments already booked with Emma will be honoured at her new location. Emma will be moving up to Beehive Newstyle in March 2024.
All Anita and Emma’s clients are welcome to join Emma and the girls at Beehive Newstyle, we are excited and look forward to welcoming you all . 🐝

💇‍♀️💇Update from 19th July 💇🏼‍♂️💇‍♀️

As you are aware restrictions are expected to be lifted from the 19th July, however we have decided that we are going to still wear our face masks and will require clients to do the same. We feel that there are
rising cases as expected , of Coronavirus and we want to protect our clients and ourselves as much as possible, we are in close contact with you all and we feel for the time being this is the safest option.
We hope this reassures that again your safety is paramount to us.

💇‍♀️ ✂️ 🚦 Hi everyone , we have been working hard in the Salon today ringing back Clients that already had appointments booked in before lockdown and also those of you that have left messages on the answerphone , if you would like an appointment or had one booked and have not heard from us yet please call the Salon and leave a message for us so we can get back to you. We are really sorry if we have missed anyone but as you can imagine it’s been rather frantic !!
We are fully booked for the first week commencing Monday 12th April even though we are all working every day and through our dinner hours so please bear with us and we will get you all booked in as soon as we possibly can , we are all looking forward to welcoming you back into the salon and to see some very interesting home cuts and longer styles !!
