A beautiful example of how subtle changes can create a refreshed, more youthful appearance.
I treated a lovely lady using two syringes of dermal filler to restore support through the mid-face, creating a gentle lift while also helping to soften the appearance of jowling.
As we age, the face naturally changes. Fat pads that were once tightly connected and well-supported can either shrink (atrophy) or enlarge (hypertrophy), while the ligaments that hold everything in place gradually weaken. This causes the tissues of the face to descend forward and downward, resulting in volume loss, deeper lines, heaviness around the lower face, and the development of jowls.
Rather than chasing lines, I focused on restoring structure and support where it had been lost. By strategically replacing volume we were able to achieve a subtle lift, improve facial contours, and create a fresher, more rested appearance without looking overdone.
Small tweaks really can make a big difference. The goal is always to enhance natural beauty, not change it.
