Just to let you know what to expect at your treatments under the new guidelines regarding COVID 19. To maximise client safety and minimise the risk of transmission of COVID 19, following government guidelines and insurance provider protocol, face treatments/working on or in front of the face will only be able to commence from the 15th August. This may mean that some of your treatments will have to be adapted slightly in order for me to carry out the practice safely.
The therapist has to wear a visor/face shield, masks are now mandatory for clients in many settings including beauty and massage practices, unless you have a valid exemption Or good reason to remove your mask; you do not have to wear your mask whilst facing down in the face hole of the massage couch. For mobile treatments where I am entering your own home, please be aware to follow social distancing measures of 2 meters and where this is not possible, please wear your face mask. If you wish to provide your own face covering, feel free to do so or I can provide one for an additional 50p per mask😷.
I will at this time be asking clients to provide their own towel/s, only one is needed to cover over you.
Extra precautions are being put in place to ensure your safety, this includes kindly asking if I can use hand washing facilities, sanitising hands and equipment before and after each client. Disposable materials- The use of fabrics such as towels and couch covers will be kept to a minimum and where possible, replaced with disposable, one use materials. Talking will be kept to a minimum during treatments but obviously if you have any queries, don’t hesitate to ask 🤐. Finally, please wash/sanitise your hands prior to treatment and where possible keep the room ventilated by opening windows or doors. 😁.
