Your appointment works best when we treat it like a conversation not a guessing game.
I can look at your nails and make professional recommendations.
But I also need to know what your day-to-day life looks like and what you actually want from your manicure.
Maybe you want something that survives a busy working week.
Maybe you want the most natural-looking finish possible.
Maybe you simply want to sit down for an hour and leave feeling polished.
Tell me 🩷
There’s no “right” answer ✨️
Save this for your next appointment and tell me which one you’ll remember.
I remember how easy it was to think “Maybe I should just wait.”
Wait until the kids were older.
Wait until life was less busy.
Wait until I felt more confident.
But there is never really a perfect time.
Starting a business while being a mum means learning to work around real life. The tired days. The school runs. The moments when you question whether you’re actually capable of doing it.
And still, you keep going ✨️
But there’s something special about creating something that is yours 🩷
For me, nails became more than just a job. They gave me independence, confidence and a career I genuinely love.
And after 6 years in this industry, I still know how much this profession can give you when you’re willing to keep learning and keep going.
I’m not saying it’s easy.
I’m saying it can be worth it 🩷
It’s not the final photo.
It’s the little pause when I turn the client’s hand around and she properly looks at her nails for the first time.
Sometimes it’s:
“Oh, I love them.”
Sometimes it’s a huge smile.
Sometimes it’s just that little look at her hands again and again before she leaves.
And that’s what I love about this job 🩷
Yes, I care about clean cuticles, perfect shape and a beautiful finish.
But ultimately I’m creating something you’ll look at every day.
When you’re typing.
Holding your coffee.
Getting ready for work.
Going out for dinner.
Those tiny moments where you catch your hands and think:
“Yes. These are exactly what I wanted.”
That’s the bit I never get bored of.
Ready for that feeling? Book your appointment and let’s create your perfect set ✨

There is no “best” nail system for everyone.
The right choice depends on your natural nails, your lifestyle, your work and how much stress your nails are exposed to.
I’d rather tell you a system isn’t right for you than keep doing something that clearly isn’t working.
Beautiful nails are great ✨️
Beautiful nails that fit your real life are better 🩷
Have you ever been told a particular nail system wasn’t right for you? 👇

If you want a nail tech who cares about your nails after you leave the salon, we’ll probably get along 🩷
After 6 years behind the desk, I’ve learned that a beautiful manicure is only part of the job.
I want you to leave feeling polished, confident and looked after, without worrying about whether your nails will still look good a few weeks later ✨️
That’s why I care so much about safe treatments, sterile tools, good technique and teaching you how to care for your nails at home.
I work with women in Newbury who value quality over rushing through an appointment.
What matters most to you when choosing your nail tech: longevity, natural nail health, or the overall experience?
And if you’re looking for that kind of appointment - my DMs are open 🩷

For me quality starts long before the final photo.
It’s in the preparation.
The consultation.
The hygiene.
The application.
The little checks I make throughout your appointment.
And the advice I give you before you leave.
I’ve been doing nails for 6 years and my idea of a “good manicure” has become much bigger than just making something look pretty.
It should look beautiful and feel like your nails have been treated with care 🩷
That’s the standard I work towards at my salon in Newbury.
What does “high quality” mean to you when you book a beauty appointment?
I think short nails are massively underrated.
Especially for women who work, type, travel, have children, use their hands a lot or simply don’t want to think about their nails all day.
A short, beautifully shaped manicure can look incredibly polished ✨️
And sometimes it’s actually more flattering than forcing extra length onto a nail that doesn’t suit it.
The goal isn’t to make your nails look like someone else’s.
It’s to find the length and shape that make your hands look and feel their best 🩷
Team short or team long?
You see the finished manicure.
You see the colour.
You see the little details.
But there’s another part of my job that matters just as much.
Cleaning.
Preparing my workspace.
Handling tools correctly.
Keeping everything organised.
Making sure my tools are sterilised and ready for the next client.
It isn’t the glamorous part of being a nail stylist.
It’s just part of doing the job properly.
I want you to be able to sit in my chair and relax because you know I take the details seriously.
That includes the ones that never make it onto the feed.
Is salon cleanliness something you actively check before booking a nail appointment?
A colour can be beautiful.
A design can be beautiful.
But I’m always looking beyond that.
I’m looking at the shape from different angles.
The structure.
The finish.
The cuticle area.
The balance between the nail and the finger.
And most importantly whether the service makes sense for the natural nail underneath.
That’s the difference between creating something that looks nice in a photo and creating a manicure I’m genuinely happy to put my name to.
After 6 years of doing nails those little details are the things I’ve become slightly obsessed with.
What do you notice first when you look at someone’s manicure?
I think I’m done making my nail appointments harder than they need to be.
I want nails that look polished without needing constant fixing.
I want to sit down, relax, and know I’ve chosen something that actually fits my life.
I don’t want to wonder whether I’m being too picky about hygiene, prep, comfort or durability.
And I definitely don’t want to book based on the cheapest price… only to end up paying for another appointment a few days later.
These days, I’d rather be clear about what I want from the start.
Elegant. Practical. Long-lasting.
And looked after properly.
That’s the kind of nail appointment that gives me peace of mind - especially when life is already busy enough.
