Now that September is behind us and life is starting to settle into its new rhythm… perhaps it’s time to put YOU back on the list. 💜
The children are back at school, college or university. Summer holidays are over. Work routines are getting back into a rhythm.
And maybe you’ve finally stopped feeling like you’re constantly playing catch-up!
But what about you?
If you’ve spent the last few weeks looking after everyone else, perhaps now is the perfect time to take a little time for yourself.
A little time where you don’t have to organise anything.
You don’t have to remember anything.
You don’t have to look after anyone else.
You can simply pause, breathe and let someone look after you for a change. 💜
If it’s been a while since I’ve seen you, please don’t worry — you are always welcome back at Francespa, however long it’s been.
I have a few appointments available next week for:
🌿 Reflexology
🌿 Reflexology for Menopause
🌿 Holistic Facial Massage
🌿 Indian Head Massage

🍂 So… what are you making room for this autumn?
I've been thinking a lot about this lately.
Not about reinventing myself.
Not about setting 27 new goals and then wondering why I'm exhausted by October. 😂
Just about making a little more room for the things that make me feel like me.
Time to move my body.
Time to learn something new.
Time to cook and enjoy lovely autumn food.
Time to see friends.
Time to sit with a cup of tea without immediately jumping up to do something else.
Time to breathe.
And time to remember that I don't have to earn rest by getting everything else done first.
Perhaps that's the bit I'm working on most.
Because there will always be something else that needs doing.
So this autumn, I'm trying something different…
I'm putting myself on the list too.💜
What about you?
What would you like to make a little more room for over the next few months?
And if you've been meaning to make some time for yourself but life has got in the way, perhaps this is your little reminder that you don't have to wait for things to be quiet.
Sometimes you just have to make the space.
Have a lovely weekend 💜

A stunning morning on the 1st of the month 💕
A 5k run with my son today nice and early 🙌 But the beauty of the morning definitely made up for the early start ☀️
A busy admin morning ahead and then seeing clients this afternoon.
My newsletter will be heading out today and working on a new blog as well - let me know if you want to be added to my Newsletter mailing list 🗞️
But for now tea and breakfast 🫖

🍂 The Autumn Equinox feels like a good time to pause and take stock.
A moment between seasons.
A chance to notice what's changing.
And perhaps a gentle reminder that letting go isn't always a bad thing.
We often talk about letting go of things we no longer need physically – having a clear-out, donating clothes, tidying cupboards.
But what about the things we carry around with us?
Old expectations.
Guilt.
The feeling that we should be able to do everything.
Trying to please everyone.
Things we've outgrown.
Habits that leave us feeling drained rather than nourished.
The belief that we need to wait until everything else is sorted before we can make time for ourselves.
Perhaps autumn is an invitation to gently let some of those things go.
Not all at once.
Not perfectly.
Just one small thing at a time.
Because when we create a little space by letting go of what no longer serves us, we make room for the things we do want in our lives.
More rest.
More joy.
More movement.
More connection.
More time outside.
More time with the people we love.
More time simply being us.
So, as we move into autumn…
What are you ready to let go of?
And what would you love to make a little more room for? 💜

A little confession… I've realised that life has taken over a little bit lately.
Family commitments, work, the usual life admin, our son being back at college… and suddenly my diary seemed to be full of everything except time for me!
So, I'm doing something about it.
I'm putting some of the things that make me feel good back into my diary.
Including this little lot… 🏃♀️🧘♀️📚🍂
Because I've realised I'm guilty of waiting until I feel like I have the time, rather than actually making the time.
Yoga classes.
Getting back to running.
Time for my nutrition course.
Cooking some lovely autumn food.
And yes… even scheduling time to finally do my tax return! 😂
Because sometimes self-care isn't about finding time.
It's about making time.
And I think that's going to be my little autumn project. 🌿
What do you need to make a little more time for?
A Sunday tidy up and set up for tomorrow morning’s clients 🙌

✨ Friday Glimmers ✨
A few little moments from my week that have made me smile… 💜
🌿 Home visits — taking Francespa out and about and having the privilege of spending time with lovely clients in their own spaces.
☕ Coffee with my dad and some friends — time together, catching up and enjoying the simple things.
🍽️ Dinner cooked by our son — because being cooked for is always a glimmer, especially when you don't have to think about what's for dinner! 😂
🌅 Some absolutely stunning sunsets — nature showing off once again.
📚 A visit to the library — because apparently I still think I can read all the books! 😂
None of these things are particularly complicated or extravagant.
But they all brought something lovely to my week.
And I think that's what I love about glimmers.
They're those little moments of joy, connection, comfort or gratitude that can so easily pass us by when we're rushing around.
We just need to notice them.
So, before we head into the weekend, I'm taking a moment to appreciate the little things. 💜
What have been your glimmers this week?
A good cup of tea? A walk? Time with someone you love? A little moment of peace?
I'd love to hear yours. ✨
