There really is nothing better than handing my bride the mirror at the end and seeing this kind of smile looking back at me 🥹

I’m very lucky that I seem to attract the loveliest, most laidback brides… but Ellie really took chilled wedding mornings to another level 😂🤍 She was sooo relaxed from start to finish, and the whole morning just felt like an absolute breeze 💫

For Ellie’s makeup, we kept the eyes beautifully soft and open with the prettiest wash of shimmer (thank you, MAKEUP BY MARIO Ethereal Eyes palette ✨), paired with fresh, glowing skin and those soft, natural tones that I love so much.

And Harsha absolutely understood the assignment 😂 The giggles started pretty much the second she sat down and genuinely didn’t stop… my cheeks actually hurt by the end of it. I absolutely LOVE when someone sits in my chair ready for a good time and a good natter🥹

For Harsha, we went for this gorgeous sparkly eye which worked perfectly with the champagne bridesmaid dresses that went on later ✨ Paired with peachy cheeks, glowing skin and a gorgeous n**e lip… the dreamiest bridesmaid glam.

After recently moving back into the village, my little home beauty studio is now all set up and ready to welcome both new and existing clients - and I’d absolutely love to see some local faces in my chair 🥰

Let’s talk about lash lifts 💭✨

One of the trickiest things I come across as a makeup artist is when someone sits in my chair with a gorgeous, freshly-done lash lift… and then tells me they’d also like false lashes 👀

A lash lift curls your natural lashes upwards, but as false lashes are designed to sit along your natural lash line they have no where to sit properly. It’s likely that your natural lashes are already lifted into a completely different curl to the false lash - think of it a little like trying to force a jigsaw piece into the wrong space 🧩 It might go on… but it’s probably not going to sit how we want it to!

Instead of the false lashes blending seamlessly into your natural lashes, they can end up sitting on top of them, pointing in a different direction or just looking a little… weird.

• This is why my advice will always be false lashes OR lash lift •

I can always give lashes a go on the morning, but 9 times out of 10, if you’ve had a recent lash lift, they just won’t sit quite right.

Luckily for this gorgeous bridesmaid, her natural lashes were 100 feet long so a few layers of mascara were all they needed. And LOOK at them!

I am utterly OBSESSED with how gorgeous Flo looked on her wedding day. The hair, the makeup, the dress… everything 🤌🏻🥹

When Flo first got in touch, she was a little cautious about having her makeup done and wasn’t even sure whether it was something she definitely wanted for her wedding day. So, we got her booked straight in for a trial… and before we’d even finished, she knew she wanted to book 🥺🤍

Fast forward to the wedding morning — and after Flo had also modelled for me a couple of times in between (I mean, COME ON… look at that face!! 🤩) — I couldn’t have been happier with how her final bridal look came together.

We went for something a lil’ bit bronzey, beautifully glowy and still completely her… and it suited her SO perfectly 🤎✨

I have been counting down to Rachel’s wedding ever since I did her makeup as a bridesmaid back in December… and it was every bit as magical as I’d imagined. 🥹🤍

She looked like an absolute angel.

✨ A little announcement… Makeup by Tish is on the move! ✨

As some of you already know, we are in the middle of moving house, which means my little makeup studio is getting a new home too! 🤍

Don’t worry though… I’m only moving 10 minutes up the road to Chaddleworth, so I’ll still be in the same beautiful part of Berkshire and will be just as easy to find. I honestly couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter! 🥹✨

With a new studio also comes a few small changes. The biggest is my studio opening hours. Going forward, my studio hours will be:

🤍 Monday: Closed
🤍 Tuesday: 10:00am – 8:00pm
🤍 Wednesday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
🤍 Thursday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
🤍 Friday: Closed
🤍 Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm (when I’m not off making brides feel beautiful! 👰🏻‍♀️)
🤍 Sunday: Closed

This will take affect from 1st September. All appointments already booked regardless of date and time absolutely will still go ahead 🥰🤍

If you usually come to me straight from work, don’t panic! We may just need to tweak appointment times slightly to allow for the extra few minutes’ journey, but I’ll always do my best to make appointments work around you.
