Thursdays we microneedle! Just like every other day really 🤣
If I told you I could boost your collagen by up to 400%, would you listen? 👂
📚 Studies have shown that after three microneedling sessions, spaced one month apart, collagen and elastin can increase by up to 400% six months after your final treatment.
🔬 But what does that actually mean for you?
This isn’t just “science talk”… this is what you’ll start to see in the mirror:
✨ Skin that feels thicker, stronger and more resilient
✨ A smoother texture, less roughness, more glow
✨ Softer fine lines and a fresher, more youthful look
✨ Tighter-looking pores (hello filtered skin in real life)
✨ More even tone, with reduced pigmentation and redness
✨ Improvement in acne scarring and overall skin clarity
In simple terms… your skin starts behaving like younger skin again
BUT…
🌟 Not all microneedling treatments are created equal 🌟
Microneedling is incredible for boosting collagen and improving skin quality… but results come down to how it’s done, not just that it’s done.
Here’s where I do things differently:
✨ Medical-grade serums
I use advanced, skin-loving serums that are infused into the skin during treatment, not just sat on top. This means deeper hydration, better repair and real, visible results
✨ Advanced microneedling pen
Every face is different, so I adjust the depth and intensity to suit your skin. Whether you need gentle refresh or deeper rejuvenation, your treatment is completely tailored
✨ Personalised care from start to finish
From consultation to aftercare, everything is designed around you, your skin, and your goals, so you get results safely and confidently
When it comes to your skin, results don’t happen by chance… they happen by choice
I’m here to help you get there 🤍
Are you ready to commit?

Those little dots on your nose… 👃🏻
You know the ones I mean?
You look in the mirror and think…
“Ugh, I’ve got blackheads again!” 😩
So you squeeze them.
They disappear…
…and then a few days later, they’re back! 🤦🏼♀️
But here’s the thing…
What if they aren’t actually blackheads? 👀
There’s something really common that lots of people mistake for blackheads, and constantly squeezing them can actually irritate your skin.
Want to know what they are and what you can actually do about them?
👇🏻 Comment NOSE and I’ll tell you!

I was in the garden centre today, admiring all the beautiful Christmas displays 🎄
Yep, Christmas. In September. 😂
A lady nearby started chatting to me about how awful it was that they had Christmas out already.
“Honestly, it’s far too early. Isn’t it terrible that they start Christmas in September?”
And I thought… well… you don’t actually have to look at it. 😂
Garden centres are notorious for getting Christmas out early. Some people LOVE it. Others would happily leave it until December 24th!
And it got me thinking…
Not everything is for everyone.
Something you don’t like might be exactly what someone else has been looking for.
Who knows, someone might desperately want baubles 🤷♀️🤣
And I think this applies to treatments too.
One person might want absolutely nothing done.
Another might love having a little wrinkle reducer 💉.
Someone else might want to work on their skin rather than wrinkles.
And another person might want to replace some of the volume they’ve naturally lost over the years.
None of those choices are wrong.
They’re just different.
I’m a big believer that aesthetics shouldn’t be about trying to make everyone look the same. It’s about understanding what YOU want, what’s realistic, and choosing treatments that suit you.
So perhaps the lesson from the Christmas display is this…
You don’t have to like it. You don’t have to choose it. But you don’t have to criticise it either.
Sometimes we can simply think…
“Not for me.”
…and carry on walking. 😂🎄
And if you happen to be okay with Christmas in September…
I’m with you. 🎄🤣

Do you ever look in the mirror and think… “When did my skin start looking like this?” 👀
Your skin might feel a little dull.
Your skin tone doesn’t look as even as it used to.
Those little lines seem to be getting more noticeable.
And then there’s the make-up… 😩
It just doesn’t seem to sit on your skin properly anymore.
It can feel like you’re applying more make-up, but somehow seeing more texture.
And you’re not necessarily looking for perfect skin.
You just want to look in the mirror and see better skin.
✓ Brighter, fresher-looking skin
✓ Smoother-looking texture
✓ Less noticeable fine lines
✓ More hydrated, plumper-looking skin
✓ A more even-looking skin tone
✓ Make-up that sits beautifully rather than settling into every little line
This is where microneedling can come in.
Microneedling uses very fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the skin’s natural wound-healing response and supporting collagen and elastin production.
Over a course of treatments, this can help improve the appearance of fine lines, skin texture, hydration and overall skin radiance. It can also help improve the appearance of some pigmentation and sun damage, depending on the individual and the cause of the pigmentation.
But the treatment itself isn’t really the point.
The point is how you want your skin to look and, more importantly, how you want to feel about it.
You want to look in the mirror and think:
“My skin looks really good today.” ❤️
You want brighter-looking skin.
You want fewer visible lines.
You want your skin to feel smoother and more hydrated.
And yes… you want your make-up to glide on rather than fight with your skin every morning! 😂
That’s where I can help.
I’ll look at your skin, talk through what’s actually bothering you and recommend a treatment plan based on your skin and your goals.
Because good skin isn’t about chasing perfection.
It’s about helping your skin look healthier, brighter and more like you, just fresher.

Two years ago today, I graduated with my Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice.
And I’m still incredibly proud of it.
There was a huge amount of work behind that certificate. Study, practical assessments, exams and a much deeper level of learning around anatomy, facial assessment, injectable treatments, consultation, complications and safe clinical practice.
But the qualification was never just about having another certificate on the wall.
It was about becoming a better practitioner for you.
Because when you’re trusting someone with your face, you deserve more than someone who simply knows how to perform a treatment.
You deserve someone who understands why a treatment may be appropriate, where it should be used, when it shouldn’t be used and how different treatments can affect the face as a whole.
That knowledge directly benefits my clients.
✓ Thorough, individualised consultations
✓ A deeper understanding of facial anatomy and ageing
✓ Treatment plans based on your face and your goals, rather than trends
✓ A strong focus on safe practice and recognising and managing potential complications
✓ Honest advice, including telling you when I don’t think you need a treatment
✓ Continued education and professional development
✓ Treatment delivered to high professional standards
And perhaps most importantly, you’re not coming to me simply to be treated. You’re coming to me to be assessed, advised and looked after.
Sometimes the best treatment is doing less.
Sometimes it’s treating something completely different from what you initially thought you needed.
And sometimes the most professional answer is simply, “I don’t think that treatment is right for you.”
That’s the difference between performing treatments and practising aesthetics at an advanced level.
I’ve now worked in aesthetics for 12+ years, and achieving Level 7 two years ago changed the way I approach my work.
But it didn’t make me think I knew everything.
Quite the opposite.
It reinforced how important it is to keep learning, keep questioning and keep improving.
Because ultimately, my qualifications aren’t really about me.
They’re about giving the women who trust me with their faces the reassurance that they are in safe, knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Two years on, I’m still very proud of that certificate.
But I’m even prouder of what it represents for my clients.

So many blemish removal appointments already this week, and every single one reminds me that these little things often bother the person wearing them far more than anyone else notices.
It might be a skin tag that catches on your jewellery or clothing.
A blood spot that people keep asking about.
A wart that’s been there for years.
Or a little bump that makes you avoid wearing your hair up or going makeup-free.
They’re usually harmless, but that doesn’t mean they don’t affect your confidence.
The NHS no longer routinely removes many of these benign blemishes, but they can often be treated safely and effectively with an advanced cosmetic procedure called diathermy.
Diathermy uses a tiny burst of high-frequency energy delivered through a fine probe to the targeted area. This gently cuts off the blood supply feeding the blemish, allowing it to dry up, shrink and naturally scab away before healing.
It is a precise, well-established treatment that targets only the upper layers of the skin. Many clients see complete removal or a significant improvement, although some blemishes may require more than one treatment for the best result.
Common blemishes that can be treated include:
• Skin tags
• Milia
• Blood spots (Campbell de Morgan spots)
• Thread veins
• Spider naevi
• Seborrhoeic keratoses
• Warts
• Verrucae
• Xanthelasma
• Age spots
• Cherry angiomas
Treatment starts from £75.
If there’s a blemish you’ve been meaning to have looked at, I’d be happy to advise whether it’s suitable for treatment. Just send me a message to book your appointment.
