ESP Nail Tech

An oldie but it’s me doing what I’ve always done…. Today marks 20years of my own business!! I am still going, admittedly just barely lol but 20 years later I’m still doing nails. I have done many things in my chosen career, gone far and also not far enough… I’ve competed since I was 17 and won many accolades. I started in fibreglass, how many still do that, raise your hands lol! I then went on to L&P, then sculpture, then Hard Gel, winning something in all of them and learning many new skills along the way😊. Finally I started competing in manicurist and I loved that just as much, I’m very technical and I enjoy the simplicity of the basics but done perfectly ❤️. This very picture is when I took part in Nails Mastered, a program looking to challenge and train session techs, that’s a regret I never got further with, that and education. Yet, I’ve also been honoured with Pro Beauty Nail Pro of the year, Clothes Show under 25, International nail tech twice and Scratch Stars Hall of Fame. All this time later I’m STILL a simple nail tech seeing her few clients and doing my best for them each and every time… Happy Anniversary to me🥳 # # #

Oh I'm SO missing out judging the Scratch Stars in London today and meeting all my nail friends, gutted not to be able to be there!! BUT I am still judging the other categories from home and I am soooo grateful to still be involved in an industry I still LOVE 🥰 thank you Helena Biggs 😘 and Scratch Magazine

I’m WAY more than “JUST a nail tech”. 😊❤️💅🏻 and this is why I no longer can do your nails, the physical and mental strain on my body and mind was too much. It was only just nails eh....

Dear Clients,

As a lot of you know I have been unwell the last few weeks, I have tried desperately to keep up with my work and not let you down but I’m sorry to say I can do it no longer. The mix of chronic pain and whatever this is, I just cannot continue as i am. I am going to have to take some time off, effective immediately, I do not know when or even if I will be able to return to nails, I understand if you feel the need to find another nail technician in the interim, sad as I feel it is unfair to make you wait for me. I can’t thank you enough for all your support over the many long years of my career and I can’t bear to think I won’t see some of you every few weeks, its making me cry writing this but thank you, I can’t wholly maintain my professionalism as I’m heartbroken... Congratulations Nails by Mets on winning of the year!

I am SO honored to judge the , I mean it was a wonderful day getting to see all my nail friends again after what seems like forever. I really wanted to be there tonight to scream with you all and celebrate the new winners but it's just not meant to be, I will be cheering you on though and I'm still so excited 🥳!!

It's been so long, on the train for a nail adventure !

Evening!! Seems alternative french is making its way back in yay! But on a more serious note the rules may be changing come 19th July but.... I have many high risk clients and I am working very close to your face and in the breathing zone, please I ask you to continue to wear a mask to your appointments, there will be no changes to service.
