New hair after nearly two years! How did she do this you may ask? Within these two years Amy had 2 packs of new hair added twice. I’ve done this method myself and made my hair last two years as well! Don’t get me wrong nothing quite feels like a full head of new hair and we both did have a full head after two years but this method helps the hair you have last a little longer when times are hard and we can’t quite afford a full new head of hair! It’s one of my little tricks to try and help my clients!

Blonde dysmorphia is a really mental state that affects so many of us!
I know once you start going blonde it’s never blonde enough girls but us hairdressers can only push your hair so much before it starts to push back. It’s our job to make your expectations more realistic. You also can’t have mega blonde hair right the way up with a really strong face frame as well as it being really low maintenance. We can’t keep lifting hair that’s already been bleached as it will end up breaking. What we can’t keep lifting do is take a look at your inspiration photos and talk you through what’s possible with your hair on this appointment. And that is exactly what I did during this consultation, we discussed a way of making charl feel blonder with going over her already very blonde hair, what we discovered is that she doesn’t like to see her natural colour running through the ends of her hair but because charl like most young girls started off with just a half head foils then got more and more foils! So on this session I took my time and did a fullhead foils going through each foils and picking out any strands that were her natural colour still! I did a small root tap to keep the maintenance low as she lives in London now and can’t make it back all the time and thank god she felt loads blonder and loved it!

To the darker side! My gorgeous client has been having blonde for years now! And after telling me she’s pregnant she decided she wanted to go darker again for maintenance reasons!

I didn’t touch her root colour as there were no greys and knowing Helen she’ll want blonde again at some point and I do not want to fight through nearly black dye!we opted to add a chocolatey note to the colour so it didn’t look too ashy!

I mean she looks stunning with both but which do you prefer?

P.s. apparently if you have your hair done with me you’ll get pregnant… it’s not just a coincidence all my clients keep coming in pregnant! Clearly their hair just looks that good 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🫶🏻

Because not every post needs to be a reel!

This was a bit of a colour correction! Out grown colour that had had block colours and foils. My client had said she’d previously wanted a more lived in low maintenance blonde but to feel blonde again because when she came in she didn’t feel blonde anymore! She also had mentioned she’d previously been to an old school salon and asked for it but they’d not fully understood what she’d wanted so had never got it to how she wants.

Now I did what I could in the first session and this will probably take another session to fully get it to the blonde she’s after but with this being my first time doing her hair I didn’t want to push the hair too much. Other hair dressers will know that it take the first time of doing someone’s hair to know what you can and can’t do with it as everyone’s hair isn’t the same!

All that said she loved it and felt blonde again.. just wait for your second session gorge! You’ll be even more obsessed 💋 stay tuned lovely’s to see how blonde I get her next time!
