Meet the team: Ryan, founder of Fat Cow🐮

Four years ago, Ryan was looking for a natural skincare recipe to help his nephew’s sensitive skin.

One recipe. One nephew. And a little kitchen experiment that just kept growing.

Ryan had no background in natural skincare. He fell into it, found an industry he really cares about and wanted to see if the product could help other people too. One small idea turned into a full business, a growing team and a whole range of tallow skincare.

No outside investment. No big team behind the scenes. Just Ryan, backing himself and putting everything into making Fat Cow work.

The thing that surprises people most? The founder is right in the middle of it all. Product ideas, day-to-day decisions, solving problems, spotting what could be better. If it’s happening at Fat Cow, chances are Ryan’s involved somewhere.

He’s also open about the fact that you don’t get everything right first time. You learn, adapt, and have another go. That attitude has helped us grow, and it’s a big part of the positive environment he wants the team to have.

Supporting British farming has become a huge part of Fat Cow too. Ryan’s working with local farmers to help bring more awareness to the farming community, and it’s a shared goal the whole team cares about.

The best part? The results. Seeing and hearing from happy customers that have completely transformed their skin with Fat Cow products. There is no better feeling.

Once you start looking at the ingredient lists on skincare, it makes a lot more sense why we wanted to keep ours simple.

We use skincare every day, so we wanted to know exactly what was going on our skin. That’s why we went back to the basics and made our products with tallow and a handful of carefully chosen ingredients.

Simple skincare, made with purpose 🐄💕

Cutting into a fresh batch of charcoal tallow soap has to be one of the most satisfying parts of the process🧼

Are you as fascinated by the soap-cutting bit as we are?

What started as research in Ryan’s kitchen has turned into a business loved by thousands of people who use tallow skincare for their sensitive skin every day.

Not bad for something that began with Ryan trying to help himself and his family 🤍
