I’ve got plenty of tools I can use during a treatment.

RockBlades, cups, hot stones, massage guns… the list goes on.

But one of the best tools I’ve got is attached to my arm.

The elbow.

It lets me apply pressure comfortably, cover a larger area and get into places that can be awkward with hands and thumbs alone.

Despite its reputation, it’s often more comfortable than having a thumb digging into the same spot for five minutes.

So while all the fancy tools look great on social media, sometimes the old-school options still do the best job.

What a “cracking” start to the week (sorry not sorry for the dad joke)

Mondays just got a lot less painful…

I’ll now be available for appointments every Monday at , Great Park.

Whether you’re carrying a ni**le, feeling stiff from training, or just need a bit of maintenance to keep your body moving properly, I’ve got you covered.

Sports massage isn’t just for injured athletes. It’s for anyone who wants to move better, recover quicker, and stop feeling like they’re held together with cable ties and hope.

Appointments are available every Monday.

Drop me a message or book online to secure your slot.

“What’s that metal thing you’re scraping people with?” 🤔

One of the most common questions I get.

These are Rock Blades, a form of IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation). They’re a useful tool, but they’re often misunderstood.

They’re not designed to torture you, they don’t need to leave you covered in bruises, and they’re definitely not a replacement for a good rehab plan.

Like most things in sports therapy, it’s less about the fancy tool and more about how and when it’s used.

Have you ever had treatment with Rock Blades before? Let me know what you thought. 👇

“What should I wear for a sports massage?”

Honestly, don’t overthink it.

Anything comfortable and loose-fitting is perfect. Joggers, shorts, a t-shirt, gym kit… whatever you feel relaxed in.

The only thing I’d avoid is anything really tight or restrictive, as it can make it harder to access the areas that need treatment.

And don’t worry, you’ll never be expected to strip down to your pants unless you’re comfortable doing so. We can always work around clothing where needed.

The goal is for you to be comfortable, not win a fashion show. 😆

Funny how people will get their car serviced every year, upgrade their phone every couple of years and replace things the moment they stop working…

But they’ll ignore aches, pains, poor fitness and low energy for years.

Your body does a lot more for you than your car ever will.

Look after it

“Was that the sensitive spot you were telling me about?” 😅

Sports massage is all fun and games until you find that bit.

You know, the one that makes the table creak, the client stop talking mid-sentence, and suddenly every muscle in a 10-mile radius starts complaining.

Don’t worry, I won’t keep poking it forever… probably. 😂

Who’s had that moment during a massage? 👇

09/06/2026

Client hurt himself racing a car.

So naturally I made him a playlist… 😂

🏃 Runnin’
🚗 Chasing Cars

Then Spotify suggested the final song and somehow completed the joke better than I could.

Sometimes the content writes itself 🤣

Thanks for being a good sport and for encouraging this kind of behaviour

If you’re dealing with tight muscles, back pain, stiff shoulders, running injuries, gym soreness, or just feeling a bit beaten up from work and everyday life, sports massage could help.

You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit. Most people simply want to move better, feel less stiff, and get rid of those annoying ni**les that won’t go away on their own.

Appointments are available throughout the week, and booking is quick and easy online.
