Why I Charge for Cancellations with Less Than 72 Hours’ Notice requires full payment of the treatment cost.

As a small business, every appointment is reserved exclusively for one client. When a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours’ notice, there is often not enough time to fill that appointment, leaving valuable time and income lost.

Cancellation policy isn’t about being difficult—it’s about protecting the sustainability of our business and respecting the time we’ve set aside just for you.

Many industries, including airlines, hotels, and holiday providers, charge cancellation fees because once a booking is reserved, it cannot always be resold. Appointment-based businesses operate in the same way.

By giving at least 72 hours’ notice, you give us the best opportunity to offer your appointment to someone else.

One of the questions I get asked is why I need to know what you’re having before your appointment.

The answer is simple: every service takes a different amount of time.

A plain BIAB , detailed nail art, a French finish, a full rebalance, repairs, or a complete colour change all require different timings. If I don’t know what you’re wanting beforehand, I can’t schedule my diary accurately.
