I can’t recommend The Truth in Colour enough.Paul has been my hair consultant for around 20 years, which probably says everything in itself. His work truly speaks for itself — whether it’s creating bespoke colours or guiding you through a complete transformation. I once went from long hair to a pixie cut under Paul’s care and absolutely loved the result. He’s a true perfectionist and an artist with colour.And then there’s Jack… where do I even begin? He’s a magician. From the moment you sit in his chair you can tell how attentive and detail-focused he is — and those details really matter. I recently had my first consultation with Jack for a bespoke colour and cut transformation and I’m genuinely blown away by the result. Without question it’s my favourite colour and style I’ve ever had. Paul… watch out, you’ve got some serious competition!The salon itself is always spotlessly clean, welcoming and professional. Even the little touches stand out — like being offered a proper coffee rather than the usual salon instant. Those small things make a big difference and really show the care that goes into the whole experience.All in all, The Truth in Colour is home to some incredibly talented stylists. For the past few months I had been wanting to change my hair style, after having a bob for many years I fancied a complete change. I finally plucked up the courage to have my hair cut short, however, I hadn't at that time selected a salon, so after much research I finally chose collective hairdressing to restyle my hair. Jack was my stylist and we discussed different options and I had actually taken photos in of hairstyles that I liked. We chose one that would suit my needs. I must admit I was nervous about going so short, but jack promised me that he wouldn't scalp me, which he didn't. As my hair was quite badly damaged from peroxide highlights, he recommended different products that would help strengthen my hair and also to leave colouring my hair for a while, so it had a chance to repair. I ended up with a pixie style haircut, which I really like. I would definitely recommend this salon and I will be returning in the future. Thank you Jack.
