Laser hair removal targets pigment — and a tan means there’s more pigment in the skin for the laser to interact with.
That’s why we need your skin to be back to its normal, untanned colour before we treat.
Treating tanned skin can increase the risk of unwanted skin reactions, including pigmentation changes and burns.
So if we say “not today”, we’re not being awkward… we’re putting your skin first. 🤍
