Well … THAT WAS QUITE A WEEK!

‘Love is in the HAIR’ opened its lovely green door on Wednesday the 30th … Lisa isn’t going to lie … there are still a few wee finishing touches to come … but the response has been AMAZING!

Lisa and the gang have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of clients and for the many gifts and cards they have received. THANK YOU!

From Lisa’s point of view, she certainly needs a rest, but seeing clients and colleagues so delighted with the new salon has made all the stress of the past few months worthwhile.

Lisa is incredibly grateful for all the local support she has received, AND … after months of planning and a very smart refurbishment (that took a little longer than expected!) her new salon, ‘Love is in the HAIR’ opened its doors today! Check out the gorgeous new signage!

It has been a low-key opening, to keep stress to a minimum, but Lisa, Barbara, Anthony, Jason and Abbey are excited to welcome existing and new clients and treat everyone to a warm, friendly experience and great hair!

Rather than the clinical feel of many salons, you’ll find a very cosy space with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe. Come and say hello … you’ll LOVE it!

After 36 years in the hairdressing industry, well known stylist Lisa Newcombe is thrilled to be establishing her brand-new salon at number 11, Shibdon Road in Blaydon!

Lisa has been a hugely popular face on the local hairdressing scene for many years. She is absolutely delighted that her vastly experienced stylist colleagues from ‘Attitude Hair & Beauty’ (established by Nichola Reid in 2004) will be joining her at the new salon, named ‘Love is in the HAIR’, to reflect Lisa’s warm, friendly approach and famous good humour (which may occasionally include the odd song!)

Work is well underway to create a comfortable and welcoming space that is due to open towards the end of September. ‘Love is in the HAIR’ will specialise in hairdressing, for all ages and hair types, featuring the totally fabulous skills of Lisa, Barbara, Jason, Anthony and Abbey! An additional chair could be available, for an experienced stylist, so please contact Lisa if you’d like more information.

‘Wendy Burnham Beauty’ will remain within ‘Attitude’ at number 19B, Shibdon Road.
