Life’s busy around here 💕 We haven’t been posting much recently because tbh we’ve just been busy having fun, meeting so many amazing women and getting to be a part of some exciting new chapters 🥹 We’re in our own little bubble behind these doors, doing what we love, making magic happen and forgetting the algorithm exists most weeks! ✨

This might surprise people, but I barely use my business Instagram. I post now and then when I feel like it, usually to like something a learner has tagged me in and that’s about it, I never scroll. After 10 years in this industry, I’ve learned to keep my eyes firmly in my own lane. Anything else is a waste of time and energy. But I recently started posting on TikTok where I’ve been shown video after video of businesses tearing each other apart and it has shocked me.

“Not my work.” 
“Learner trained elsewhere.” 
“My way is right, so everyone doing it any other way is wrong.”

I get it, it’s an easy way to make yourself look good or sound like an expert. 10 years ago I might have done the same but now I look back and cringe at my naivety.
Even when a customer walks through my door putting down another business they’ve previously used, experience has taught me to take it with a pinch of salt (and compassion) every time.
When you’re truly confident in yourself, your business and your abilities, what everyone else is doing doesn’t bother you.
Your work speaks for itself, without you needing to hold it up to anyone else’s. And you’re too busy watering your own grass to care what anyone else is doing with theirs.

I know my story is an extreme example, but I hope it helps someone out there who might need to hear that it’s possible no matter where you are now.
