On Saturday we held our coffee morning to celebrate Gene and to support the Southern Area Hospice, We are completely overwhelmed today with the incredible turnout, support and love for us and Gene.

Thank you all so much for showing up! The weather never stopped the crowds and we could not have done it without you all.

Finding the words today that truly express how thankful we are, We are so blessed with our families and friends who never stop and are just always there for us x
It takes an army of support to make a difference! And what an army we have ❤️

The bakers... Wow!!! Thank you so so much for all you baking, We could not have done it without you!! The amount of amazing home baked goods we received was just phenomenal! Thank you x

The Drumgath parish for letting us have the use of the Parish Centre to host our incredible morning and the Drumgath Ladies who were with us on Friday night for the set up ( we can all agree the hall looked amazing) and from being there from the crack of dawn on Saturday morning right through to the end.. You ladies are amazing Thank you so so much you kept everything running smoothly xx

Your daddy loved you all so much and I know he would have been bursting with pride with how you all composed yourselves. Yesterday wasn't easy but you done it for him we love u so much xx

So far all your support has been incredible and we are completely overwhelmed. It truly means so much to us how kind and generous and supportive you have been!

We are really looking forward to our coffee morning and we truly hope you can join us ❤️Hopefully with our combined events we really will be able to make a difference in helping Southern Area Hospice
I can't describe just how vital the hospice is. It's somewhere we just don't ever want to have to go to but when Gene had to go for a week in November for symptom control he was looked after so compassionately.

We miss Gene more everyday it doesn't get any easier if anything the days are harder and the nights are longer, I'm so blessed to have the kids who everyday show me a bit of Gene through them, We have an amazing family around us and we are also so blessed with great friends so together we have a focus and in Genes memory we really hope to make a difference and we know we are doing Gene proud ❤️❤️

We are combining our walk and coffee morning events to raise funds for Newry hospice...

Now our walk is over ( which we all completed and got our fabulous medals phew!! ) we will be full on organising our coffee morning so please call over and join us... Let's celebrate Gene ❤️

Our hearts broke when we lost Gene in November, to a very short battle with cancer. Cancer is cruel and unforgiving, until we lived with it first hand we never understood. Gene really was one of the best❤️
Gene spent a week in the hospice for symptom control and honestly I don't know what we would do without the service of The Southern Area Hospice. They looked after Gene so well and since his passing they have looked after myself and the kids.
So to raise money for The Southern Area Hospice myself, our girls, friends and family are firstly going to take part in the 10k walk in Dublin on the 2nd June and then on 20th July to celebrate Genes birthday we are going to hold a coffee morning in Rathfriland.
We hope you can help us with our fundraising and then please join us in July. In memory of Gene
