Something to share from my personal life and love of art 💚
In the summer last year I bought this limited print by Marja Lee at the Wildershins exhibit at Green Hill Arts on Dartmoor. I saw it and just fell in love with it and her artwork, I had it framed for Christmas and just put it up yesterday.
Her husband, Alan Lee, designed a lot of the sets for The Lord of the Rings films and has done artwork for Tokiens books, their daughters make sculptures and art.

I love what I do, and I'm always happy when my clients feel rested physically and holistically 🌿
My style is intuitive and moves with the body
When the body relaxes and feels safe, tension, trigger points and held emotion can release.
For me it's a combination of technique and intent, and the environment and space set up to sensory, safe and restful.
For anyone who doesn't know, I'm a qualified integrative counsellor, and I believe the skills I have learned to hold that space help me as a massage practitioner.
A holistic approach to massage helps regulate the nervous system and allows for a deeper level of healing

I'm reflecting today about incredible women in my life who are wonderful friends, inspiring, gentle, supportive, empathetic, physically and mentally strong, hillarious, smart, wise, creative, fun and bring so much joy.

I wasn't sure whether to write this, but I'm just going to ask its something thats important to me
Things I wish for all women
To have equal rights - currently worldwide, women only have 64% of legal rights as men
For better treatment, research and medical care for women
For the people currently being protected in the Epstein files case to be named and held accountable
To remove gender bias in safety equipment that prioritise mens health over women's, every day objects to be balanced to suit men and women and not prioritise men, to get rid of items "for women", packaged in pink that are have an increased price, that actually hold nothing specifically benefits for women "the pink tax"

Today is my birthday, I've been having a lovely 2 days off! ☺️
My partner treated me to a spa day at The Lorrens Womens Spa in Torquay. If you're looking for a very good, peaceful spa day I recommend it 🙏
