You know Dan and I like a random adventure. I don't post many of them but this one gets an airing.

So on Friday we drove down to Cornwall. To make a kitchen knife each! It was a great weekend. Traffic was good. The sun was out. We had fish and chips on the beach in Newquay.

Then on Saturday we headed to St Agnes to make our knives. I knew I wanted to make a Nakiri. Dan was going rogue and making his own design. We had such a great day then steak restaurant for dinner.

Then on Sunday we swam in the sea, walked around Newquay, had a great breakfast. Bought our favourite cinnamon rolls from Choukette, the best in Cornwall! We obviously had to buy extra, 2 for the car journey and 3 to share with Jamie when we got home 😁

Anyway here are a few photos from the weekend.

I reported a gas leak this morning at 9am after smelling gas as I walked into work. They sent someone out straightaway and they've been here since 10am and have detected a gas leak.

I've been told it's SAFE and I'm safe to work 👌

More crews have arrived and the pavement will be getting dug up this afternoon so please just take extra care coming into your appointments this afternoon.

I'm here until 7.30pm and am told the crews will still be here then.

If ever you do smell gas just walking around then ring 0800 111 999. They were great this morning and sent someone out straight away.

What a fabulous weekend away at Hartington Hall. I didn't realise how much I needed this weekend. Lots of laughs and tears as standard. A very therapeutic weekend for us all ❤️

I feel blessed to have so many genuine women in my life. Just bloody lovely.

We met a wonderful lady Gill The Chicken Shed who originated from Warrington and we had conversations you don't usually have with strangers but Gill it was lovely to meet you and we felt honoured you felt comfortable to share 🤍

Great food, chats, ice cream, pubs, Bakewell tart, people, dogs, stories, facts, history, flowers, sculpting studio, fresh air.... I could go on.

I know I have messages to reply and I'll do that later ☺️
