There’s something about getting out by the coast and simply taking your time — listening to the sea, feeling the fresh air and taking in the rugged beauty of County Down.
Ballyhornan is one of those places that reminds me why I love exploring our coastline and finding the colours, textures and landscapes that surround us here in County Down.

Spelga Dam
With the warm weather, the low water level at Spelga Dam has exposed part of the old road that once spanned Deer’s Meadow — giving us a fascinating glimpse into the past.
We’re keeping a little of that history alive in the name of our Deer’s Meadow Oat & Honey soap, scented with Lemon, Lavender, Ylang Ylang & Rose Geranium essential oils. 🐝🌿
