This one has been with me since pretty much the beginning of my tattooing journey, and we’ve FINALLY completed Kirsty’s patchwork sleeve! 🥹

We started this around 3 years ago and Kirsty usually comes along to my event days, adding a few little tattoos at a time. This time she booked herself a full day session so she basically had free rein to choose whatever designs she wanted to fill those final spaces… and I absolutely LOVE her choices. Possibly even more than my own 😂

I genuinely love our sessions. Although I’m not actually sure whether they’re therapy sessions for you or me at this point… pretty sure it’s mainly me 😂🙈 Thank you for always listening to my life dramas!

A little glimpse at today’s work… 🖤✨

I absolutely LOVE how this leg collection is coming together.

The Lux et Veritas piece was one I tattooed previously, and today we continued building around it with this detailed falling angel, celestial elements, dotwork and falling feathers — keeping everything flowing together while still allowing each piece to stand on its own.

We also gave an older tattoo a completely new lease of life with the floral cover-up 🌸🖤 You’d never know what was hiding underneath!

There’s something so satisfying about seeing a collection develop over different sessions and gradually bringing all the individual pieces together.

Little cover up 🖤

What he came with vs what he left with ✨

This little floral piece was originally done elsewhere, and unfortunately my client was left feeling a little disheartened with the result. He asked if I could give it a bit of a glow-up and bring it back to life.

The flower has a special meaning as it was done for his mum, so keeping the original sentiment while transforming the piece was really important. 🖤

A little rework, added detail, depth and shading later… and what a difference. 😍

Sometimes a tattoo doesn’t need covering — it just needs a little love and a fresh pair of eyes. ✨

Looking forward to seeing how this one settles and heals — I think it’s going to look even better once everything has softened down. 🖤✨

A little ocean energy for this one 🦈🖤

Three sharks brought together in a delicate black & grey, fine-line style, with soft shadow work underneath to give the illusion of them moving through the water.

I love how the different sizes and positioning create that little sense of depth and movement without needing a heavy background — simple, detailed and perfectly suited to the forearm.
