In return, selected models will receive their treatment at a heavily discounted model rate ✨

• Be comfortable having before & after photos/videos taken and used across my social media/marketing
• Be available for your first appointment within October
• Be happy for content to be captured throughout your treatment where appropriate

There will be multiple model opportunities, with treatments offered at significantly reduced prices in exchange for allowing me to capture high-quality content.

Please don’t wait until you’re ready for your treatment to book your prescription appointment — without the appropriate consultation and prescription in place, I won’t be able to carry out your treatment.

LET’S TALK ABOUT POSITIVE ASPIRATION 💉🩸

It might look alarming, but this is actually an important moment to understand.

So, what is aspiration?

When using a needle for dermal filler, aspiration refers to pulling back on the syringe plunger before injecting. A positive aspiration occurs when blood enters the syringe, indicating that the needle tip may be positioned within a blood vessel.

What happens next?

A positive aspiration means we do not inject in that position. The injection is stopped before filler is deposited, the needle is withdrawn, and the area and treatment plan are reassessed before proceeding.

Importantly, this does not necessarily mean the entire treatment has to be abandoned. Depending on the circumstances, treatment may be able to continue safely using an alternative injection point, depth, technique or treatment plan following reassessment.

But there’s another important part of the conversation…

A negative aspiration does not guarantee that the needle is outside a blood vessel. Aspiration has limitations and should never be relied upon as the sole method of preventing vascular complications.

Safe dermal filler practice involves much more: a detailed understanding of anatomy, appropriate product and technique, controlled injection, continuous assessment of the tissue and, most importantly, recognising when something doesn’t look or feel right.

Positive aspiration = stop, withdraw and reassess.
Not panic — and definitely not inject. 🖤

Patient safety will always take priority over completing a treatment.

LET’S TALK ABOUT MASSETER INJECTIONS 💉

The masseter is one of the main muscles responsible for chewing and is located at the angle of the jaw. In some people, this muscle can become particularly strong or enlarged, often as a result of genetics, habitual clenching or teeth grinding.

So, where does botulinum toxin come in?

Botulinum toxin can be carefully injected into specific points of the masseter muscle to temporarily reduce the strength of its contraction.

In simple terms, we aren’t completely stopping the muscle from working — we’re reducing how powerfully it contracts.

For patients with an enlarged or overactive masseter, this can have two potential benefits:

✨ Functional — reducing excessive muscle activity may help with symptoms associated with jaw clenching and tension.
✨ Aesthetic — as the muscle is used less forcefully, it can gradually reduce in bulk, which may create a softer, slimmer appearance through the lower face and jawline.

This is very different from dermal filler. We aren’t adding or removing volume. Instead, we are altering the activity of a muscle that can contribute to the overall shape and width of the lower face.

Results are gradual. The effect of botulinum toxin develops following treatment, while any visible reduction in muscle bulk can take longer to become apparent.

And importantly — this isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. 🖤

Before treating, we assess facial anatomy, masseter strength and size, symmetry, existing lower-face structure and the patient’s individual concerns. Correct patient selection, dosing and placement are particularly important when treating the lower face.
