Hi, I’m Lauren — the face behind Lunar Beauty! 🤍

You may know me as Lunar Nails, but as my business has grown, so have the services I offer. I felt it was time for a name that better represented everything I do.

So… Lunar Nails is now Lunar Beauty ✨

Whilst nails will always have a huge place in my heart, Lunar Beauty is now home to nails, lashes & brows, and I’m so excited for this next chapter. 🤍

But if you’re new around here, let me introduce the person behind the logo… 👋🏼

I’m Lauren a 27-year-old mammy, wife and the face behind Lunar Beauty. 🤍

I’m a nail, lash & brow tech based inside Tru To You Aesthetics & Beauty Academy in North Shields, where I’ve been based since January 2025. 🖤

I’m a mammy to two amazing SEN children, and my animals are my babies too! 🥹🤍 Derek is my bearded dragon 🦎 and Arlo is my American Bully 🐶.

Life outside of work can be a little chaotic, but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way! 😂

I’m a major tea addict ☕️, have diagnosed combined-type ADHD (which probably explains my slightly chaotic brain & the longer appointment durations 😂), and I absolutely love my rock & metal music 🎸. Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, Falling In Reverse and Black Stone Cherry are just a few of my favourites.

I’m also a huge craft lover ✂️ and love getting creative whenever I can.

I also live with chronic pain, which can definitely make things more challenging at times, but it doesn’t stop me from doing what I love. 🤍

So that’s me — a slightly chaotic mammy, tea-fuelled beauty addict, creative, rock & metal music lover, animal mammy and chronic pain warrior… who absolutely loves making people feel beautiful. 🌙🤍

It is unfortunately that dreaded time of year again which I absolutely despise! I unfortunately will be increasing my prices across all services from Thursday 1st October. This is due to the continued rising costs of product, rent, and everything else that allows me to provide the best possible service to you all!

I want to thank all of my clients (old & new) for giving me all your support over the last 2 years as non of this would be possibly without you all!

I will be posting new price lists and adding them to my highlights soon! So please keep an eye out for those!

But yesterday marked 2 whole years of Lunar Nails! 🌙✨

Two years ago I took a leap of faith and started something I dreamed of. Since then I’ve met the most amazing clients, learnt so many new skills, pushed myself outside of my comfort zone, and watched Lunar Nails grow into something I’m so proud of.

This past year has been especially exciting with moving into the salon, expanding my services, and now being qualified in lashes & brows too! I honestly can’t wait to see what year 3 has in store.

To every single person who has booked an appointment, recommended me, liked, shared, commented, or simply supported me along the way… thank you. It genuinely means the world to me and none of this would be possible without you. 🖤
