How would you feel if I kept walking away halfway through your haircut every time the phone rang?

Or if you were at home making tea, helping the kids with homework or finally enjoying five minutes of peace... and I rang you up to book your appointment?

Probably a bit weird, right? 😂

That's exactly why I have an online booking system.

It's available 24 hours a day... unlike me.

You can book, change, cancel, check your appointment, stalk my availability, see how much your appointment will cost and add services whenever you like. No waiting for me to reply between foils.

And before anyone says, "Just hire a receptionist..."

I'd love one. So would my sanity. 😂 But someone has to pay for that, and I'd rather not add another £20 onto every cut and finish just so the phone gets answered.

I'm a one-woman band.

We're not a big salon with apprentices and receptionists.

We're a freelance collective.
We're relaxed.
We prioritise the client sitting in the chair over the phone ringing in the corner.

So if I don't answer... it's not because I'm ignoring you.

It's because I'm either making someone else's hair look fabulous... or I'm at home being Mum.

Jane doesn't even live locally anymore and still makes the trip all the way up from down south to get her hair done. We miss having her around and hearing all her stories, but we're very grateful she still trusts us with her hair.
