Hannah Collins Beauty Therapy
Skincare specialist helping women over 35 feel confident in their skin by reducing the visible signs of ageing - so makeup is a choice, not a necessity.
Hannah trained as a Level 3 Beauty Therapist at Northampton College and graduated in 2011. Since then she has gained trade experience working in a range of spas and beauty salons. In the summer of 2016, Hannah felt she was ready to open her first beauty treatment room, servicing the local people in and around her village of Welford set in countryside of the Heart of England. The room is situated in a beautiful Victorian cottage offering a one-to-one beauty experience in a lovely setting, perfect for a memorable relax and pamper.

This is exactly why I love what I do š„¹š
Of course I want you to leave the salon thinking āwow, my skin feels amazing!ā āØ
But this message meant so much more to me than that.
For me, a facial has never just been about what I put on your skin. Itās about creating a space where you can switch off, feel comfortable, ask questions without feeling silly, and know that your skin is being properly looked after.
And then hopefully you leave feeling excited about caring for it at home too, rather than completely overwhelmed by what you should be using!
This lovely client came in for a 60 Minute Bespoke Facial, where everything is chosen specifically for what her skin needs on the day. No set routine, no one-size-fits-all facial, just the right combination for her skin. š¤
Messages like this genuinely make my day.
Beautiful skin begins with care, calm and consistency. āØ

I spent my weekend decorating⦠and naturally I somehow ended up thinking about SKIN ššØ
Before we could get the lovely new paint on the walls, we had to do the boring bit first.
Prep. Sand. Smooth. Then paint.
Because you can buy the most expensive, beautiful paint in the world, but if the surface underneath hasnāt been prepared properly, youāre never going to get the best finish.
And your skin is exactly the same āØ
We can put beautiful serums and moisturisers onto our skin, but sometimes we need to work on the canvas first.
The right exfoliation helps remove that build-up of dead skin cells, smooth the surface and prepare your skin for the products that follow.
And I say the right exfoliation because more definitely isnāt always better! Your skin barrier still needs looking after, which is why I choose what your skin actually needs rather than throwing every active at it.
Think of your facial as the prep work that helps everything else work beautifully š
And on that note⦠Iāve had a cancellation tomorrow at 12.30pm.
I can fit in a 40-minute Bespoke Facial, perfect if your skin needs a quick pick-me-up, a bit of a glow and some proper hands-on relaxation.
Message me if youād like it š¤
Now, back to work⦠although Iām already eyeing up which room I can do next š

That is something I hear from so many of my clients.
They'll often say, "I don't want to look 25 again. I just want to look healthy."
And honestly, I couldn't agree more.
Most of the women I see aren't trying to change their face or chase perfection. They simply want to look in the mirror and feel like themselves again. They want their skin to feel calm, comfortable and hydrated, with a healthy glow that gives them confidence to leave the house without feeling they need to hide behind makeup.
For me, healthy ageing isn't about erasing every line or pretending we're not getting older. It's about looking after your skin so it stays as healthy, strong and radiant as it can through every stage of life.
Sometimes that means calming redness and sensitivity before we even think about anti-ageing. For someone else, it might mean improving hydration, firmness or working on those fine lines that have started to bother them.
Every skin journey is different, which is why I never believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
There is no pressure to have Botox or fillers. No pressure to look like someone else.
Just healthy skin, natural results and a plan that's completely tailored to you, so you can feel confident in your own skin again.

Today Hannah Collins Beauty Therapy turns 10! š
Ten years⦠I honestly canāt believe it!
If youād told me back in 2016, when I was working from a treatment room at my parentsā house, that one day Iād have my own salon at The Wharf, I donāt think Iād have believed you.
Along the way Iāveā¦
š¤ Become Mum to Chloe and Oliver
š¤ Trained two apprentices to Distinction standard
š¤ Employed five wonderful members of staff
š¤ Met hundreds of incredible clients, many of whom have become genuine friends
š¤ Built a business that Iām so proud to call mine
Itās been an amazing 10 years, but definitely not without its challenges. Running a business has taught me so much, and Iāve grown alongside it.
The biggest thank you goes to every single person whoās booked an appointment, recommended me, supported me or simply cheered me on. I genuinely wouldnāt be here without you.
Thank you for helping me turn a little dream into something I still pinch myself about today.
Hereās to the next chapter. š„āØ

10 years ago this was where it all began⦠š¤
One treatment room at my parentsā house.
A treatment bed.
A chair.
A dream.
A lot of nerves.
On 1st August 2016 I officially opened Hannah Collins Beauty Therapy, never imagining where the next 10 years would take me.
Looking back at photos makes me smile because every little detail meant so much at the time.
⨠The countdown to 10 years starts nowā¦

After a much needed week of rest in the sunshine with the family Iāll be back to work on Tuesday.
Weāve had the most amazing break visiting our first holiday spot together after 15 years!
Lots of swimming in the sea and cocktails on the beach and now Iām ready to enjoy the rest of the summer holidays between work and spending time with the kids.
I have another busy week when I get back including training on Tuesday before an evening of clients. See you when I get home x

āļø A little summer reminder āļø
With the summer holidays here, Iām making a conscious effort to switch off a little more, spend precious time with Chloe & Oliver, and enjoy a better balance between work and family life.
And I hope you do the same.
We can sometimes feel guilty for slowing down, taking time off or not replying straight away⦠but summer is there to be enjoyed. The messages can wait. The to-do list will still be there.
So hereās your reminder (and mine!) to put the phone down, soak up the little moments and enjoy some guilt-free time with the people you love. āļø
I may be a little slower replying over the next six weeks, and while Iām on holiday until 28th July Iāll be switching off completely.
Thank you for understanding and respecting my family time. Hereās to a gorgeous summer for us all. š¤
