I just wanted to update you all regarding my working locations.

I know I had previously said I would continue offering Thursdays in Brixworth, however I have been genuinely overwhelmed by the number of new bookings coming through from Collingtree. Because of this, I’ve had to make the decision that from 24th April, I will no longer be working from Brixworth. I PROMISE I had intending on doing it.

All appointments will of course still go ahead in Brixworth up till the 24th, but after that they will now take place at my Collingtree salon. If you’re unable to travel to Collingtree, please amend your booking via Fresha as soon as possible, where you can reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Please understand this decision hasn’t been made lightly. I’ve had to consider travel time, ongoing costs, and the practicality of running between two locations.
My booking system has been all over the place with people accidentally booking at the wrong location, it’s also not working out cost effective me having to buy double everything.

8 years in the industry and moments like this still don’t feel real 🥹✨

Being named a 2026 finalist for not one, but TWO categories is something I’ll never take for granted.

This has been something I’ve been working towards for a long time and I’m so excited to finally welcome you all into the new space.

📍 From 31st March:
Appointments will be based at my Collingtree studio.

📍 Thursdays:
I will still be working in Brixworth, so clients who prefer that location can continue to book in on Thursdays.

Shield size matters more than you think…

One of the biggest mistakes I see with lash lifts is using the wrong shield size.

Too small?
The lashes over-curl, hit the lid, and the lift looks tight and unnatural.

8 years later and I’m still shocked I’m the CEO.

But also…

Book the appointment.
Respect the policy.
Pay the invoice.

Because little me might be confused —
But grown me built this properly 💅🏼

The Beauty Industry Has a Pricing Problem.

And nobody wants to say it.

Scroll social media and you’ll see:
“Full set £30”
“Lash lift £20”
“SALE SALE SALE”

What you don’t see is whether that business is:
• Properly insured
• Patch testing correctly
• Reinvesting in training
• Paying tax
• Using professional-grade products
• Building a sustainable structure

Beauty isn’t expensive.
Poor pricing is.

When services are consistently underpriced, it doesn’t just hurt one business — it lowers the standard of the entire industry.

After nearly 8 years in this industry, I’ve learned this:

Retention isn’t luck.
Safety isn’t optional.
And professionalism has a cost.

Clients aren’t paying for lashes.
They’re paying for expertise, hygiene standards, experience, and long-term lash health.

If you treat your business like a side hustle, it will always feel unstable.

If you treat it like a company, it grows like one.

We don’t elevate the industry by racing to the bottom.
We elevate it by raising the standard.
