✨ From redundancy at 45 to business owner at 49 ✨

If someone had told me a few years ago that losing my job would lead me to a career I absolutely love, I wouldn't have believed them.

Being made redundant at 45 was one of the most challenging experiences I've faced. I felt uncertain about the future and questioned whether I was too old to start over.

Then I discovered Tropic Skincare.

What began as a love for beautiful, natural products soon became a passion for helping others feel confident in their skin and prioritise their wellbeing. Becoming a Tropic Ambassador gave me confidence, purpose, and a new direction.

That journey inspired me to retrain in Beauty Therapy, learning new skills and stepping far outside my comfort zone. It wasn't always easy, but every course, qualification, and challenge brought me closer to the dream I was building.

In 2024, I opened my own beauty business.

Today, I have the privilege of helping clients relax, unwind, and take time for themselves through treatments I genuinely love providing.

Looking back, redundancy wasn't the end of my story—it was the beginning of a new chapter.
