The products I reach for time and time again when I need a face that lasts 👌🏼✨

✨ a good base - Bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base will always be a cult favourite of mine, I know primark do a dupe but honestly nothing beats the original formula

✨ layering colour - using cream blushers and bronzers (I used the huda beauty blonzer & an elf cream blusher then layered a powder blush and bronzer over the top to keep the colour vibrant and long lasting

✨ lip liner stain - make your lip last all night with a lip liner stain I used the wonderskin one here! They are all over tik tok and they work a treat

✨ a long lasting foundation here I used nars radiant longwear which a little goes a long way and it doesn’t move

✨ setting power in key areas like around the t zone, chin and under eye (I love the Charlotte tilbury airbrush flawless pressed powder

✨ a water resistant brow pencil here I’m using out Beautifix brow pencil in shade brunette it’s so easy to use and gives a gorgeous natural soft finish

✨ waterproof mascara for no smudging and transfer!

✨ setting spray - I used the makeup revolution super fix setting spray, I love it as it feels refreshing and not like hairspray

10 years of Beautifix 🥂 🎉

Ten years ago today, I went self-employed and started Beautifix from a spare room at my mum’s house. Bridal makeup and brows, one client at a time, Dougie curled up on their knee while I worked (if you know you know 🐶 🤣)

What a journey since then. In 2019 we opened our first salon and built a small team. Then COVID hit, and we had to reinvent everything; appointments moved, doors closed, and we found our way through it anyway. Master classes, product launches, training courses, new seasons, new chapters, and now an incredible town centre salon with a team of 14.

None of where we stand now would be what it is today without Bernice, Thirteen-plus years of friendship, every single season of Beautifix built side by side, and now my equal partner in it all. Two kids between us since we started, a business that’s grown beyond anything we imagined, and a friendship that’s been the constant through every version of this dream. She is the yin to my yang, and there is genuinely no one else I’d want next to me for this.

Not forgetting our incredible team, past and present, our amazing clients who’ve trusted us with your big days and everyday confidence, and our family and friends who’ve cheered us on since day one; thank you. Truly. None of this happens without you.
