Saying goodbye to my first born business š„ŗ
Since September 2019, to present, I enjoyed every second of helping women feel beautiful.
After a recent health scare, potentially caused by the lash glue, lashing was already off the cards whilst I wait for a biopsy result. Although these results arenāt back yet & Iāve not been given an appointment by the department Iāve been referred to either, it plays on my mind daily.
As my first business, I worked hours that didnāt benefit me, I made losses frequently to allow women who couldnāt afford more, still have the chance & I loved nothing more than witnessing you all light up after your appointment but.. opening a second business showed me a lot I needed to know & it really opened my eyes.
In order to do well, I need to earn well.
With the health scare, together with the realisation of how it feels to actually have a steady income, Iām so sorry to say The Lashapist is no longer.
Thank you to every beautiful soul that stuck with me for years, months or gave me just one chance. Thank you to those that had patience for me when I first started, for those that laughed with me & cried with me, gave me advice and accepted mine. For those who trusted me to make things right when I made a mistake or used sh*tty products on them & thank you to those that were as loyal as they come when I took time off with my back injury & with the loss of my mum. Iāll never forget that. 6 whole months without lashes.. twice.. now thatās some loyalty.
A woman laying down & closing her eyes for hours, in my home, giving me that trust of yours and spilling the tea, spilling your deepest, darkest and most hilarious moments in life, really was what kept me going during my time lashing. Iāll never forget how precious these years are to me.
Just thank you. Youāll never understand how much I appreciate every single one of you & how much I absolutely adore you ladies.
But for now.. Itās an end of an era.
Thank you
I love you

š¢ HERE COMES THE BRIDE š¢
This is my best friend since I was 6/7 years old and this little beaut here is going to be a bride in less than two weeks now! š
As her Maid of Honour and lash connoisseur, I offered lashes for her wedding day, to avoid the troubles of clusters or strip lashes. I thought weād trial her wedding set a few weeks beforehand (took me 83783 days to edit this video) and they were spot on!
How pretty š„¹
My poor little cherub hasnāt had lashes with me in 6 YEARS and I failed to remember she has astigmatism, leading to her eyes involuntarily opening whilst we think theyāre closed (I couldnāt see from my angle!). Luckily, she didnāt suffer from any chemical burn! š®āšØ
I cannot wait to walk down that aisle for you, my Chlo! And to fluff your dress.. and top up your lippy, keep you hydrated and help you p*e ā„ļø

Alright, so I messed up.
I was given an inspiration photo and I did not nail it.
I think they still turned out pretty though š„¹

An angel/hybrid infill for my client who kept experiencing fallout from one eye elsewhere and thought sheād try KLD Beauty. Perfect retention with me š„³š„°
I love to include a cheeky smile shot after this do**us plays silly buggers behind the camera š„²

An angel hybrid for Summer ā„ļø
Now, after this appointment, I can well and truly say I can never EVER accept a client who has had a lash lift where the lashes havenāt lost their curl yet, again š
Summer accidentally over processed her lashes with a DIY kit at home and regardless of her doing this months ago, this is something that I should have turned away as this set isnāt anywhere near what Iād want for her, even though she swears blind that she loves them š¤£
I gave this a good go.. literally 4.5 hours! š¬ She was going on holiday the very next day, sheād paid in full MONTHS ago and I just needed to try. I accepted the challenge. But never again, my cherub š¤£

Abbey used to be my next door neighbour.. a tiny little girl who I have a photo with, when I was on my way to prom because she said āI want a photo with the princessā š„ŗ As she got a little older, she used to write cute notes and place them on my front door for me to find when I got home. Then, 3 weeks ago (yep, Iām terrible at posting), I got to do her lashes!
This set was absolutely beautiful. An angel/ hybrid set that Iām absolutely loving to do at the moment. This absolute wally managed to get a few photos.. however, they werenāt in focus š
Iāve tried my best to focus them a little so I can add them to the grid, but trust me when I say they were STUNNING š„¹

*Reposting as I wasnāt happy with the colouring in the original post š„²
A short, cat eye Volume set for my beautiful new client! This client was aware sheād like a dark lash line and for the lashes to be visible but knew she wasnāt a fan of the mega volume look. These suit her perfectly š
Sorry for never posting! Iām always too busy enjoying my clients looking in the mirror after their appointments to remember to ask them to lay back down for a photo shoot š„¹
Using in 8mm-11mm

Did someone say angel lashes?
Oh. my.
This beautiful girl came to me for a one off appointment as her lash tech wasnāt able to fit her in. After her patch test, I couldnāt help thinking about the incredible amount of lashes she had, the length of her lash line and her lash health and how there were endless opportunities for her. I message afterwards and asked her if sheād like to try angel lashes. Iād been tinkering around with making them, had spent hours and HOURS watching videos on them and was waiting for the perfect opportunity. This little beauty gave me the go ahead and my goodness was it worth it š„¹
Trying a new technique on a new client.. risky.
But.. āThe biggest risk, is not taking any riskā
