🔸 1 in every 3 cancers diagnosed worldwide is a skin cancer, and in the UK, 1 in 5 people will develop skin cancer during their lifetime.
🔸 Rates of melanoma (the most dangerous form of skin cancer) continue to rise, are at an all time high and affect people of all ages, including young adults.
🔸 Skin cancer treatment places a significant burden on our NHS, costing an estimated £750 million a year.
🤔Yet around 90% of skin cancers are preventable and early detection significantly improve outcomes.
