The reason I could book a holiday with 10 hours’ notice…

Life has been a little tough recently.

A couple of weeks ago, after both girls had been brought home from school early, Billy looked at me and said, "We're going away, we need a break”

At 3pm we booked a holiday.

At 1am the following morning we were heading to the airport.

Now, not many business owners could make that decision with just a few hours' notice.

And the reason I could is because of the incredible people around me.

When I messaged Shelley to tell her I needed to postpone her review, her response was simply:

"What do you need me to do?"

My answer?

"Just run the business for me."

And that's exactly what she did.

Alongside our wonderful team, they stepped up without hesitation.

No complaints.
No guilt.
No pressure.

Just support, kindness and care.

The salon carried on beautifully.
Our clients were looked after.
Problems were solved.
Appointments were booked.

Everything just kept moving.
