It’s been so nice to welcome clients back into the salon and catch up with everyone. It’s so good to be back!
I thought I’d let you all know what I’ve been up to whilst we’ve been in lockdown...
I’ve trained and been working as a Health Care Assistant at the NNUH.
When we were told I had to close...AGAIN! It was so disheartening for me (along with the whole industry). It made me feel so helpless and I really wanted to do something and help towards the cause and the pandemic. The hospital were calling out for help so I thought what better place to be.
It’s been so nice to get my brain working again and learn something new as well as meeting new people.
I want to reassure all of you, that everything is still In place in the salon to make it as sterile and safe as before. I’m grateful to have had my second vaccine today and I am covid testing myself twice weekly. So although I am working two jobs now, everything is still as safe as it was before.
Please don’t worry though, hairdressing is still my first love so me working at the hospital won’t affect any of your appointments and I can still create your beautiful hairstyles.
I can’t wait to see you all soon xx

Boris has finally confirmed that we can reopen on Monday 12th April.

I just wanted to let you all know (incase you think I’ve forgotten you) that my appointment book has still currently not reopened.
The date we have been given (12th April) is a provisional date and could still be likely to change- Let’s face it, the government have done it before!
So therefore I will not be booking appointments until we are certain that this is the date we can reopen.
To rebook everyone is a very lengthy process for me and like last time I will be working 12hour days, 7 days a week to start off with to accommodate you all, but there is only me! If I book you all in and then the date is prolonged, I will have no space to move those clients to as I will already be booked up with other clients. It will stop any potential disappointment and disheartening if I just wait a little longer.
It is a new legal requirement that ALL colour clients will also have to be re-skin tested at least 48hours prior to any colour service, so I will also need to book you in for this too.
I am trying to be as fair and accommodating to everyone as I can be and hopefully I will be in touch with you all soon to get you booked in.
