We added cooler tones throughout to beautifully blend the greys — not to hide them, but to work with them.

Sometimes embracing your natural grey rather than trying to completely cover it is the best way to make it feel softer and far less noticeable, creating a much more seamless regrowth.

Working with lots of naturally curly hair, this was such a lovely result for our first session. My client only colours her hair every 6 months, so the goal is always long-term, low-maintenance colour that grows out beautifully.

My client has a totally unique style, inspired by Japanese trends, but yet still wants to keep some of her hair’s natural movement — so why can’t she have both?!

Blunt definition through the front, inspired by the current Japanese hair trend Hime which is bold and blunt but my client likes the sides/back much softer and more movement and why not!

Olive tells me exactly what she wants… and sometimes it goes against everything I’ve learnt as a hairdresser! 😂 But honestly, that’s what I love about my clients — there’s no right or wrong when it comes to hair. It’s about what YOU love and what makes you feel like you.

We always have so much fun creating something completely unique, and that’s what it’s all about! 💜

☀️ Summer isn’t over yet… and neither is the blonde!

Keeping those beautiful bright, sun-kissed tones for the foreseeable 💛

Because when the blonde is this good, why change it.

When your client comes in every 12 weeks… and we’re left scratching our heads because somehow her colour STILL looks good 😂

Today we did a refresh: a subtle face-frame touch-up + a few delicate babylights to give those roots the most natural, gorgeous glow 🤍

Low-maintenance colour that grows out beautifully = the dream!

Low lights are seriously one of the most underrated hair transformation and sometimes, they’re ALL you need!

I forgot to take a before picture 🙄 — must be better at that! But imagine those sun-lightened highlights, a little natural root showing (because you all know I love a soft, natural regrowth 😉), and a blonde that’s ready for a little refresh.

As summer starts to come to an end, we wanted to soften and break up the existing blonde. We kept the front piece slightly brightier, then added a load of lowlights, matched beautifully to my client’s natural tone, to create this gorgeous, soft, dimensional colour.

And the best part? We’re basically recycling those old highlights rather than constantly lightening the hair — meaning we can create a richer, more natural tone while keeping the hair in beautiful condition.

A little lowlight magic goes a long way

This summer transformation was such a fun one! We actually took a lot more length off than the last photo shows (I completely forgot the before picture 🙈), but I managed to grab a shot after removing some darker areas with a gentle bleach bath to create a seamless base for this gorgeous cherry red.

The previous highlights gave the ends that extra pop of vibrancy, adding so much dimension and shine.

I’m absolutely obsessed with how rich and glossy this colour turned out. Summer hair at its finest! ❤️
