Caitlin had the pleasure of creating this Calico Colour on her client with a little twist!

Traditional Calico hair comes from the Calico Cat, usually combining the colours copper, blonde and black, but we like to expand slightly out of the normal box when we need to.

Instead of copper her client chose purple to keep in with what she usually has which is an all over purple. Caitlin divided the hair into sections to create bold and block lines meaning there is no blending so you can easily identify the different colours in the hair, whether her client wears her hair up or down. Caitlin loved creating this amazing look!

Welcoming Caitlin Johnston our newest advanced hair designer to the team ✨

During school and a short time in college, Caitlin studied fashion and textile design and quickly had the realisation that it wasn’t the textiles she loved the most, it was the hair. Beginning her career in the hair industry in 2015, Caitlin continuously builds on her skills by keeping up with the latest hair trends, techniques, and fashion inspiration to ensure her clients always leave feeling confident and refreshed.
Aside of creating beautiful hair, Caitlin loves meeting new people and creating a welcoming and bespoke service to each client that sits in her chair.
Outside of the salon, she loves travelling, discovering new routes for a 5K run, and relaxing at home with her cats.
